If God is in control; Why does He not get His way?



If God was in control, all the gifts of the Spirit would be in operation, and people would be able to walk up the stairs to their airplane without falling…three times. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.



If god was in control…YOU would experience peace…All of the time, because you’d be living with Him, in Him, because you would be living synchronous with Him all the time.



If God was in control we wouldn’t have to pray, we wouldn’t have to give, we wouldn’t have to say ‘No’. to ungodliness and worldly passions.



If God was in control, nobody would die drooling and messing themselves, because Jesus already took the stripes to pay for everybody’s healing.



We would not have to preach good news because we’d be living it.



Jesus made it clear….He said “There is a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy…..And there is Jesus Himself who came so we might have life…and not just life but life more abundantly.. So Jesus came to create a divide….Life and death…And YOU choose. YOU are in control.

Yes, God is sovereign, His plans and His promises will all come to pass, but YOU are in control in the Earth....As I've said before....God owns the store, but has put you in place to manage it...You decide how the store is run....

God gave humanity a will to choose and gave us dominion over all that is on the earth but humanity, in the garden, by following the way of the Serpent gave power over this world into his hands (Luke 4:5-7)....so because God is faithful and will not violate His own sure word of Promise (and man's will) He foreknowing this would happen set up the plan by which a man would appear who could take back the proverbial deed to the ranch (Genesis 3:15)...so God does not intervene in every little detail and control every wish and action of man (as some preach and teach) but only does so when it regards issues and circumstances important to His overall Kingdom plan (which He has, does, and will ontinue to do). So for US He gave directives, ordinances, and commands....Now do not be fooled Total Depravity (as in absolute incapability) is an error...if one takes into account the whole word (not cherry picking and re-interpreting) man has the capability to make the right choice (Go0d gave us this power) but most will not because they like being lord of their own life (Genesis 3:5). All; the directives and commands of God when the Apostles (taught by Christ) translated these into Greek used the "imperative mood" which precludes the hearer's ability to respond or not! This is why it says God wills that al repent but they do not ALL repent....if it were not so then for God to insist the person turn to Him and ask for mercy and forgiveness (and He knew they were utterly incapable) would be a cruel hoax to say the least and it would mean that evil people when they did their evil were actually doing what God willed for them and created them to be...and the whole word does not weigh that out.

A wise man always seeks after God first. A wise man always asks God for the best way to handle any situation....A wise man spends a lot of time in the Word. A wise man is very careful of the words he speaks, speaking love and life instead of sickness and death... What thinkest thou, Reba?

If God is in control....He's doing a really lousy job of it....Pandemics, human trafficing and on and on and on.....Does God hate mankind? Who is really in control? What does the Word say? Look at all of it, not just the parts that back up your opinion...

God created everything before the foundation and is complete control, doesn't mean that He doesn't leave Man up to his own devices (choices).

You don't appear to trust in God's perfection and completeness; He knew all outcomes before He even created!!!

You're right...God will never leave us nor forsake us....esp when we lean on Him...Seek His wisdom etc

I know He knew everything that any of us would ever do as well, but knowing does not equal causing.
