Been a long time since I've been on a nice forum! Miss the good old days haha.

Anyway, you can call me J or Bella or Bell - I'll figure it rediscovered my faith after many moons walking down a path that only a life of purpose could guide be through - no matter how difficult.

As far as a nice forum, I truly hope that it is one...but be warned that you will diffidently come across some warriors of the faith, who can be a bit contentious in dotting the i's, and crossing the t's! Not always reflective of the love they have for each other, but rest assured they do. I do believe they'd give the Bereans a run for their scrutiny of scriptures!

Anyway, Sister Bella/Bell, again be welcomed, in the Love of Christ Jesus.

I haven't been called "Nikki" since my mom used to shout it out with a Spanish accent when trying to hunt me down in the neighborhood we lived in when I was running the streets! It was like hearing nails on a chalkboard! lol

In Italian, meaning Beautiful Woman.
I guess woman back in the day used it for cosmetic properties.

He most certainly has, for He sees both the internal and the eternal! Sadly, the world has humanity so caught up in the temporary, redefining what is considered beautiful and what is not. Many believe the external is the standard for beauty, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Not necessary Sister, unless you can take a picture of your heart as God sees you! The best I can do is look to your words that you share here with us. That give us a clearer picture of who are than any picture you could share with us would. Not perfect, and one loving the Lord, and seeking to grow in His Grace.

Otherwise, I trust God, that He doesn't make mistakes, though as Christians we'll never admit to the thoughts that we have at times, that He does, especially when it comes to how we see/judge ourselves. That's our frailty, and most especially the world/enemy talking, and sadly, even others that we care about, unintentionally hurtful, say.

So, throw those negative thoughts/perceptions out the window, don't believe them. I'm sure if we could see your spirit, it would shine so brightly it'd be blinding! That is eternal, and not temporal like the flesh is!
