Flying creeping things with four feet

Those born of the Spirit and the Word might disagree since Adam was formed before the woman.
What are you talking about? The only woman alive was Eve, she was made from Adam's rib, and she ate the forbidden fruit after being deceived by the serpent. "Eve" mother of all living, the first woman ever created, from whom all human beings have descended.

This thread is really a great example of our need to be socialized into the body of Christ through regular church attendance and participation.

why do so many of us act like damn fools all the time..
especially those of us who are born-again...
its like, we get the Spirit of God and then we go crazy
we really need better interpersonal skills and more discipleship in the church
one thing about the protestant reformation, although it came with lots of great advances, it also resulted in lots of real strange individuals, with strange interpretations, and strange behaviors.

“A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right,
and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom. But the tumult soon subsides.
Time makes more converts than reason.”

Gen 5:1-2
5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

So if both male and female were named Adam, you can call her anything you want but the Woman's name was Eve.

, with strange interpretations, and strange behaviors.

You mean like a man and his wife shall be one flesh? That clearly indicates that he created them Adam & Eve?
17" And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife,...." Genesis 3:17
---------

20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; Genesis 3:20

So if you want to say Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, then that is your prerogative. Mother of all living,
wasn't the mother of Adam? Then if it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth,
and daughters were born unto them,
Gen 6:1 then how could men had began to multiply, of yeah, the all things are possible belief.

Yes, Adam's wife's name was Eve. Adam did not have a mother, he was the first human being created. Eve was made afterwards, from his rip, the second human being created. from these two, all humanity has descended.

You seem to be caught up on the king james version of the bible which says that God called Adam and Eve by one name: "Adam". Although I have no idea what it is you think that signifies, I would encourage you to look into other translations of the bible. The vast majority of them have that verse as "and called their name 'mankind'", or "and called their name "human beings".

I am sorry for being rude and insensitive to you, i know you are probably just doing your best to try to seek God in His word, truth from the bible. But at the same time you really ought to do your research, better yet, find a good church and talk to the Pastor and get in some small groups and learn this stuff from other Christians who have been walking with the Lord for a while.

You will find that traditional Christianity has a very concrete foundation for its main doctrines; Jesus Christ.

It like Proverbs Prov 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

So which one would you choose? I'll give you both choices you can see, wisdom and understanding and I'll take the thing therein which you can't see.

So what is man's understanding? Proverbs 3:5 So what of man's wisdom? 1 Cor 3:19

I fear one has to obtain knowledge before they can obtain wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy is understanding.

This is what im talking about. You are completely incoherent. Even the parables Jesus told to the Pharisees were still understandable. If you wish to talk with us about something, then talk! Explain what your trying to say. Maybe you will teach us something!

@WaterRock

Greetings,

Thank you for sharing what you see and understand here.
I can understand what you are saying which does not mean that I agree nor does it mean that I disagree either.

I would be interested in searching the Scripture with help from the Helper for more Scripture to weigh this with,

Bless you .....><>

I recall one time more than a few years back that the Holy Ghost had made an impression on me regarding a praying mantis I had seen. The best I could describe what was impressed upon me was to remember what i saw. I wasn't really sure what I was suppose to remember but It wasn't a month or two back I heard a person ask about how a flying insect could walk on all four if they all had six legs, the op had commented that that it was really putting his faith into question.

Of course the comments were that it was merely a poetic writings which literally means it meant nothing and that there was no flying insect that walked upon four of it six legs when I remembered. While I didn't remember they had wings or not, [which it is the walking stick without wings] , looking it up real quick and verifying it had wings, I found some footage showing one walking on the four while grasping it prey with the front two as it walked to get away from a pest that was messing with him.

Since I knew that it was my not from own reasoning that this critter came to mind then or now, one can't receive by faith alone so I posted a pic and suggested he might consider looking at this critter, However, while verse 21 begins the passage of the fly insects, seems new Bible being translated are changing the fowls in Leviticus 11:20 into flying insects as well. But I still like that little dung beetle, if they all have six legs and then if four goes upon the ground then the other two would have to go upon the ground too. But that insect that catches live prey and eats their flesh like carnivorous, can't help to wonder if eats carnivorous plants too. But I think this thread is about played out as it can get.
