The Word of faith movement did not start until the 80's

Kenneth Hagan did not study under E.W Kenyon. Kenneth Hagan is accused of copyright infringement of E.W Kenyon works. E.W Kenyon died in 1948, Brother Hagen started His first bible ministry in 1949. Get your fact right if your going to judge someone.

E.W Kenyon was not even close to being the first that figured out It was God's will to heal you. John G Lake ring a bell?

It claims that God created human beings in His literal, physical image as little gods. Before the fall, humans had the potential to call things into existence by using the faith-force. After the fall humans took on Satan's nature and lost the ability to call things into existence

If you took the time to study, and not criticize others, you will find that matter is constant on this planet. Nothing is getting "Called into existence" Number 14, Prov 18, Matt 12, Mk 11, James talk about the fact you have what you say. Good or bad. This means your words should line up with what God said and not your circumstances. Believe God!!!! It's not that hard to figure out.

This could cause a big shock in a person's life when they have face obstacles in life, which they may end up losing their faith and stop believing altogether.

If you "Loose faith" it has nothing to do with circumstances. Faith comes by hearing the Word (Rom 10:17)

Satan comes and takes it from you heart.

People receive the Word with gladness, they have no root, but when persecution comes for the Words sake they give up and get offended.

People have waked in victory but after a time the care and lust of others things enter in and choke the Word.

This is what happens. The circumstance has nothing to do with it. It's called no Root and believing the circumstance and speaking the circumstance instead of what God said. Unbelief in the Word of God is evil, and the reason millions are going to hell.

My own son was suppose to die of cancer. Yes it was going to be that next day!!! Thanks to great men of faith like Kenneth Copeland, and Kenneth Hagen, I learned to believe God no matter what the report said. By faith the elders obtained a good report. My son is alive and serving God.

You have come to late with your judgments and hate speech. You can keep your doubt and unbelief. While many may not like Copeland or Hagen, these men of God would never knowingly cause anyone harm. They want victory in peoples lives. I don't agree with lots of teachers out there, but I look at the heart. Are they against the Lord??

If you want to be concerned, then 14 million members belong to a church that allows openly gay pastors. The Presbyterian church just voted to allow open gay leadership, and now the Methodist. I would be more concerned about the fall of what many consider the church.

Has it occurred to anyone that these people may know something that Satan does not want you to know? What if they are right? Do your own searching. Don't trust others to tell you what to think. If you listen to a man who fears faith, he will tell you faith is a sin. Why not ask Father?
Father did say that if you need wisdom HE will give it to you.

Who of you actually asked Father what He thinks?

I'm not saying you're wrong in your belief, I'm saying ask the ONE who really knows. And diligently seek HIS wisdom.

But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles,* Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God. 1Cor. 1:24


God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom. 1Cor.1:30

As we can clearly see Christ is the wisdom of God and should be our focus.

Has it occurred to you that there are perfectly valid reasons for a Christian to make vast amounts of money. Has it occurred to you that its God that gives you the power to get rich? Why would God give you the power to get rich if its bad?
Do you know of anybody who takes advice from a poor man? NOBODY pays attention to a poor man except to ridicule him, call him lazy or stupid or the like. I know. I've literally been on the streets with a wife and four kids. Even Christians drive you away when you're poor. :shock:

My Brother Jiggyfly have been going back and forth about the WOF movement and other faith related things for a few years now...

It's not that he does not believe in faith in God, just not like you or I.


So we have loaded the scripture cannons more than once and fired away at each other. One thing I can tell you about Jiggfly is that He is full of faith, and Operates in the gifts of the Spirit... In fact he has a awesome post about the Gifts of the Spirit on this forum.

Jiggyfly and I have completely different beliefs about Money and the Bible. I have been trying for a long time.... and you better know your bible before trying to argue with him... I would suggest that most just leave him alone.

Though I have seen Jiggyfly upset lots of people. For the ones that want to Grow and research what they really believe, those that truly want to grow and be taught..... Jiggyfly has been a valuable person in my life.

He is one of the few that has been able to challenge my belief system, and has caused me long hours going over scriptures to just stand in the arena with him. For that I am truly Grateful!!!

Jiggyfly likes to fish... as well as I do... so he can't be all that bad.

LOL Thanks Mike. I have no doubt at all about Jigfly. Its plain to see that he loves the Lord and since I do too, Jig can do no wrong. grin
Still it does steam me up to see so many basing their opinions on the research of ot hers, or even worse, on the fears and ignorance of others, instead of searching the Word for themselves.

Not to say Jig is one of them. I got the impression Jig likes to argue to 'test' the spirit and knowledge of other friends

Hey Jigfly That was a good example to show that Peter was a total pauper right? Wrong. Where does it say Peter was always short of funds. He traveled, he ministered, he gave, etc. How can anyone run an effective ministry with no money? He can't God provided every penny, (sheckel or whatever money they used) to meet every single need. I doubt not that many of Peters wants were met too though the bible does not say....

Sure it has occurred to me but thats not as big of threat as deceiving people to thinking that God wants everyone to be millionaires, thus all the warnings to the like. News Flash:lightning being a disciple of Christ is not about increasing self.

Well, its not exactly 100 fold....... You sow in the hundreds, you reap in the Hundreds. I fully believe that the 100 fold was more of a decimal place..... Paul said sow a lot get a lot........... He did not say, sow little, and get a lot.... Sorry all you Word of faith folks that thought different!!!!

One thing I do know.......... Jesus said the Poor will always be with us. You would have to believe that lots of those poor know God. That is enough right there to tell you that their must be poor people... Jesus said it!!!!!

Well, I can show anyone 3 things that (Takes some time and effort to learn and do) but can make anyone a lot better off than they are now!!!
