Could i ask you a question, how do you know its the Lord that is speaking to you, there are many Spirits out there and many of them of them are not associated with God.

How? Because the demons fled from me..i started cutting at 10/11ish the told me where to cut how to cut and what to carve into my skin..they told me where to burn n how to burn whatever shape they wanted into me..they have told me how to get rid of people so to say i no longer wanted to deal with..if you follow what i am saying ive meant many demons n they look like you and me..its not a war of flesh but of the Spirit..
The difference between Abba n the demons the demons want you to destroy n they will use the word to help you do so..they had me almost convinced it was ok for me to go stand in the middle of the highway n just wait one night..
Unless you yourself have experienced hearing the voices of demons n the Voice of Abba you wouldn't truly understand how one knows the difference..
Different vibration between the Him n the demons... Thats for sure..

So youre saying that everyone that votes is not putting their trust in God?, i think youre getting a little confused here, voting for the lesser of 2 evils doesnt mean youre putting them above God, it just means given the choice then 1 is more in line with Gods Justice and compassion than the other, for example, 2 candidates, 1 says they will slash overseas aid and cut taxes for the wealthy, one says theyll increase Overseas aid and pay for it by taxing the rich, whos most in line with Christs message to feed the hungry, house the homeless, minister to the sick, help the poor and oppressed, or 2 candidates, 1 wants to increase military spending and cut domestic social programmes, the other wants to cut military spending and increase social programmes, whos most in line with Christs teachings of pacifism and help for those in need, or 2 candidates, 1 wants to implement a brutal anti immigration policy, the other offers a policy of increased immigration and increased help for migrants, whos most in line with Christs command to "Welcome the Stranger"?, its not a question of elevating one above God, just choosing the lesser evil but all the while understanding that both operate a corrupt and evil system that will only end when Christ returns. I also find it a bit odd that you liked Medico Bravos post, an overtly political post in favour of President Trump when you claim to disdain politics and those that vote.

You also talk a lot about maintaining "order", and that this is Gods will for the world, now ill contend that later, but if you want order then youre going to have to have rules, and if you want rules youre going to have to have legislators to pass those laws and a police system to enforce those laws, in short a Government. So youll need people in power and unless you support a dictatorship youll need a vote, so how does that comply with your disdain of the political system?.

and that is the important message, "do not conform to the world, " do not take on its values, although we ALL do, but we as Christians know thats wrong, we see the greed, selfishness, hate, Lust and envy, the evil that drives the world and while ALL of us are in it and tainted by it we strive not to conform to its values.

Agreed, although which of us "know" that we're from God, we can only act as Christ commanded and pray for Gods forgiveness, Grace and Mercy for our manifold sins.

You do accept that you are in this world dont you, that you are a wretched sinner in the sight of God and that you are in need of his Grace, Mercy and forgiveness for your many sins, because it sometimes seems that you see yourself as sort of hovering above us mere mortals dispensing Gods wisdom and Justice.

I am sincere in my question Brother Nick, for when Twistie said " The Lord has told me you are walking in Darkness" my initial reaction was not to question the sincerity of Twistie but why she believed it was God telling her this, my next question was "Did God tell you why he said i was walking in Darkness", and thirdly, after Twistie offered to pray for me, an action that i found very moving, i also offered to pray for her, pray in general and specifically over this issue, so if there is another spirit at play it would be revealed to her, although she is convinced it is the Lord speaking to her.

Could i ask you a question Brother Nick, what would you say if someone said to you that "The Lord has told me you are walking in Darkness"?.

Oh yes, one more thing, whats a "New York Minute"?.

Why i said you are very comfortable with that darkness you walk with..i tol walked with that darkness at one time..
If i did not walk in the darkness i would not know i am walking with the Light now..

Could you be more specific , just give me a few examples of where "you lean on your own understanding and follow your ways"?. I genuinely try to follow the teachings of Christ in ALL i say and do, i fail miserably, but then thats Human Nature, we are all wretched sinners, ALL do and say what we know we shouldnt and ALL need to beg forgiveness from God.

The Blueprint for my Christian life is the "Sermon on the Mount" , although ALL of Christs teachings are essential to our understanding of his Truth and our faith, this encapsulates for me just what it means to be a Christian, a follower of Christ. So i really need to know just where you think ive got it so wrong.

I never doubted the sincerity of your belief that its God speaking to you and now i understand why you believe it. I have never been in the situations you describe so cant really imagine the depth of the pain and turmoil you must have gone through.

I too have felt that God has sometimes spoken to me, not as a voice, but through the way certain situations developed, at crucial moments in my life when things could have gone very bad indeed, it all turned out for the good, and even when initially i couldnt see the good , it set me on a new path to where i am now. That may be God, it might be just coincidence, i dont know, but my faith tells me perhaps its more than just a random set of events.

This is why i need to know if God told you why i'm walking in darkness, i dont claim to be in the Light , far from it, but i do strive to walk towards the light, and like to believe that events have set me in that direction, but if i'm wrong i need to know, so could you tell me what God told you as to why i'm on the wrong path.

But i dont claim to be saved, for i see that Judgement as Gods prerogative and his alone, in Matthew 7 21-23 Christ says "21;“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’" and in Matthew 25 44 -46 Christ says to those that call him Lord but fail to help those in need " 44“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’45;“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’46;“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”, it seems to me that there are many that consider themselves "saved" but who will in fact be condemned, how do i know that i'm not one of those, who call Christ "Lord" but do not follow his ways, more so now when you say that God has told you "I walk in Darkness", i live my life of faith trying to follow Christs teachings but aware of just what a wretched sinner i am and put my trust in Gods Mercy, Justice and Forgiveness, i can do no more.

Christ will always be the "King" of my life, well thats not true, too often my own self interest and worldly pursuits take precedence, but that again is the sinner i am, alls i can do is to pray that God will give me the strength to be "Christ centred" in all i do, and when i fail, pick me up and set me back on the Hard and narrow path of true Faith.
