Are you like steward that was called to account by the owner for mismanaging His stuff, even maybe stealing from the owner and at the least misrepresenting him? The steward was told you are fire get your stuff together. So the steward cut deals with those who owed his master money in hope to save himself. Jesus said, " the master commended him for being wise"
Jesus was making a sarcastic remark in reference to the pharisees because the steward didn't change his ways instead he just continued behaving in the same corrupt way. Like wise the Father was confronting the pharisees with their mismanagement and misrepresentations of God through Jesus, but they didn't repent and continued in their crooked way.
Is what is unfolding today, a day of reckoning for us. Did God confront us? Is this a calling to account for the believer and how will you respond?
