1Cor 15:45 So also it is written, "The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The first man Adam was created in the flesh by God and the spirit of life breathed into him, he was born outside the carnal mind as he had not been cursed for disobedience yet.
The last man Jesus was identical to Adam in that He was a man born outside a carnal mind as God was His Father and the cursed carnal mind is passed down from a childs Father.
Adam never got past a living soul as he was disobedient and the curses came upon all for his disobedience.
Jesus became a life giving spirit due to being obedient even unto the death of the cross and thus was highly exalted by God
after being perfected
. Heb 5:9
1Cor 15:46 However,
the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.
The natural man is something that we all partake of.
"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same."
"Wherefore
in all things it behooved Him
to be made like unto His brethren."
So when did we become His brethren?????????
He being foreordained became the first of the born from above Sons of God by ordination as He was the first to receive that baptism in the Holy Ghost that made Him a spiritually
begotten Son.
For to which of the angels did He ever say:
"You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You"?
And again:
"I will be to him a Father,
And He shall be to me a Son."
Present tense ,Today, at His flesly begetting. And future tense will be, shall be, after birth, and more importantly after spiritual begetting.
Now the real question is why did Jesus need to be spiritually begotten?????? The answer is simple He was predestinated to be the first born spiritually of the Father, among many brethren?
Kind produces after kind, a horse will produce only a horse, same for a dog or cat. What is spiritually born of God becomes a Son/son of God thus a god. After all Jesus is the express image
of the Father, and when Jesus shall appear we shall see Him as He is for we SHALL BE LIKE HIM, the express image of the Father.
So you believe Jesus was once once a mortal who became "a" god. (lowercase g) I have to wonder if you are LDS/Mormon?
I am neither LDS or Mormon, but if Jesus was not a mortal man then explain how it is that He was killed and truly died, for if He did not die then He was not raised from the dead?
Then ask yourself did Jesus raise Himself from the grave or does the Bible say that God (His Father) raised Him from the dead. Rom 10:9, Acts 3:15, Acts 4:10 etc...
The only way that one can die is to be mortal. Why else would He pray to have this cup removed from Him? He did not want to suffer and die even though He knew why and what the reward would be for Him and us. Carnal mind is a tough character, it affected Him to the point He sweat blood.
Another point on that statement is why else would God warn Joseph to take the child( Jesus) into Egypt while the murder of all the young male children was being committed? If He was
immortal then, why move Him from danger, as He wouldn't have been in any danger if immortal?
This was true for everyone except Jesus.
If that were true then the scripture I just quoted in yellow above is wrong
Of course the sin of Satan was he wanted to be like God and ascend his throne above Gods.
No where in my posts will you ever see an attempt to cast anyone above the Father, including Jesus, who is in subjection to the Father once God has become ALL and In us all.
Eph 4:6 "One
God and Father of All,
who is above All, and
through All,
and In you All." This
ALL includes Jesus, as the Father was IN JESUS reconciling the world unto Himself.
And Jesus said unto Mary:
John 20:17 "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended
to my Father: but
go to my brethren, and say unto them,
I ascend unto my Father and your Father;
and
to my God and your God.
These 2 verses alone should provide proof that Jesus was not God, nor was He immortal until after God raised Him from the dead and glorified Him.
If these truths are hidden from your eyes then I am not the one that can open them for you to see.
