Believers That Have Gone Astray Are Still Saved

Some people believe that once you are in the kingdom you are "safe".

Matt 13:41; "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,

Even Satan, and the fallen angels were once "in" the kingdom,

Jude 1:6; And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day,
Luke 10:18; And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

Ezek 28:13 "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared.
Ezek 28:14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 28:15 "You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created Until unrighteousness was found in you.
Ezek 28:16 "By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you.

Even Christians will be judged.
1Pet 4:17; For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
That is why there is a damnation of saved believer for not being ready as found abiding in Him & His words in being received to the Marriage Supper in Heaven as His disciples aka vessels unto honor in His House.

Those saints & former believers left behind to die when their spirits will be with the Lord in Heaven awaiting for their resurrection after the great tribulation, they will become as vessels unto dishonor in His House, the vessels of wood & earth.

They are saved, but not safe from God's wrath if they believed they can live in sin. Repeating a post to you from another thread below in case you missed it but is applicable here.

When we see the consequence for not looking to Jesus Christ to help us lay aside every weight & sin to be found abiding in Him daily in running that race, we risk a scourging from the Father.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

But when does that scourging or that whipping from the Father takes place? Jesus says when saved believers are left behind for not being ready to go as found abiding in Him & His words as His disciples.

Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. 41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? 42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. 45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. 49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

John 15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Running that race is not for obtaining salvation but for the high prize of our calling for that incorruptible crown by His grace & by His help so as to avoid being a castaway, as a vessel unto dishonor, but still in His House.

1 Corinthians 9:
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

When we discern with Him the ramification of this truth in His words below, then OSAS is true, but not every saved believer will be ready to go when the Bridegroom comes but they will wished they had been ready.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Heb 2:1; For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.

Heb 6:4; For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
Heb 6:5; and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
Heb 6:6; and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

You can't do something again, unless you've already done it once.

2Pet 2:20; For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2Pet 2:21; For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
2Pet 2:22; It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT," and, "A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire."

Matt 25:26; "But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed.
Matt 25:30; "Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

No one can take you from Jesus's hand. But He Himself will cast some out. No one made Him do it, He does it on His own accord.

Matt 25:11; "Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.'
Matt 25:12; "But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'

Matt 22:2; "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son.
Matt 22:11; "But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,
Matt 22:12; and he *said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' And the man was speechless.
Matt 22:13; "Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

1Tim 4:1; But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Tim 4:2; by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

Luke 8:11; "Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.
Luke 8:12; "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.
Luke 8:13; "Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luke 8:14; "The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
Luke 8:15; "But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.

Some people "believe for a while" and then fall away. Others even start to bear a little fruit, but they never bring it to maturity.

Luke 13:6; And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.
Luke 13:7; "And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?'
Luke 13:8; "And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;
Luke 13:9; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.'
"

Even with Jesus watering and fertilizing some trees, they simply refuse to bear fruit.

Heb 4:1; Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.
Heb 4:2; For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.
Heb 4:3; For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, "AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST," although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Heb 4:4; For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: "AND GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS";
Heb 4:5; and again in this passage, "THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST."
Heb 4:6; Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,
Heb 4:7; He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS."
Heb 4:8; For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
Heb 4:9; So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
Heb 4:10; For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.
Heb 4:11; Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.
Heb 4:12; For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heb 4:13; And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Rev 2:1; "To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:
Rev 2:4; 'But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Rev 2:5; 'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.

Rev 2:12; "And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: The One who has the sharp two-edged sword says this:
Rev 2:14; 'But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit acts of immorality.
Rev 2:15; 'So you also have some who in the same way hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
Rev 2:16; 'Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.

Rev 2:18; "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze, says this:
Rev 2:20; 'But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
Rev 2:21; 'I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality.
Rev 2:22; 'Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds.
Rev 2:23; 'And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Rev 3:1; "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: 'I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Rev 3:3; 'So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

Rev 3:14; "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this:
Rev 3:15; 'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.
Rev 3:16; 'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
Rev 3:17; 'Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked,
Rev 3:18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
Rev 3:20 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Jesus is speaking here. To churches. Not unbelievers. He says unless they "repent", He will spit them out, make war against them, throw some of them into tribulation and sickness, remove their lampstand.

Luke 13:2; And Jesus said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate?
Luke 13:3; "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Luke 13:4; "Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem?
Luke 13:5; "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

You can't do something again, unless you've already done it once.
Hebrews 6:1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.

What is being conveyed as impossible below is the necessity to repeat the above. That is why we just move on to perfection by repentance with His help and by His grace.

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

The punishment below cannot be dismiss but neither can the life the earth had received from the rain.

7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

What is above ground gets burned just as what is on that foundation gets burned but the believer is saved regardless that he will suffer loss for defiling the temple of God whereby physical death will come unless he repents.

1 Corinthians 3:
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Keeping this post short... God be willing, I shall continue with the rest of your references.

Yes, this is true. Whatever a believer sows, he will reap the consequences thereof, but per previous posts, any work on that foundation that defiles the temple of God will be burned off of that foundation and that physical body destroyed but he is saved per verse 15 below.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Keeping this short and God be willing, shall continue with your other references from that post.

Yes, this is true. Whatever a believer sows, he will reap the consequences thereof, but per previous posts, any work on that foundation that defiles the temple of God will be burned off of that foundation and that physical body destroyed but he is saved per verse 15 below.

Yes there is a judgment for rewards. But only for the believers that meet the requirements to get that far. Everyone who was ever a Christian doesn't qualify not to get burned up.
Yes, some will get in by the skin of their teeth, and get no rewards. But not every believer will get in.

John 5:28; "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,
John 5:29; and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

I have heard another misapplication of that phrase as no one can take you from Jesus's hand but you can remove yourself from His hand but that is not true either.

Is the worthless slave still cast out? Yes, from the Marriage Supper, BUT not from the kingdom of Heaven thus still in His hand. Don't forget these truths which is in according to the Father's will.

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

#1 He will not cast out any the Father has given Him.
#2 Jesus will do the will of the Father that sent Him.
#3 Jesus will lose nothing of all the Father has given Him.
#4 Jesus will save all who believe in Him.

Plus, there is another Person that shares the same hand we are saved by God.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

Since Jesus is doing the will of the Father, then there is no casting out of His hand but only a casting out from attending the Marriage Supper within that kingdom of Heaven as disqualified to attend.

Then there is that witness of the Holy Spirit for why e is in us as sealed unto that day of redemption as in you will never lose that seal, even though you may lose that crown and become a castaway.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. <---- discern the scope of that portion of the verse for why He will lose nothing of all the Father has given Him.

Keeping this short. God be willing, I shall continue addressing your other references.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. <---- discern the scope of that portion of the verse for why He will lose nothing of all the Father has given Him.

I would say this is a bad translation.

(AMPC) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).
(ASV) And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption.
(ESV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(ESV+) And R4do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, R5by whom you were sealed for the day of R6redemption.
(KJV) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
(MKJV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed until the day of redemption.
(NAS77) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(NAS95) Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(NIrV) Do not make God's Holy Spirit sad. He marked you with a seal for the day when God will set you completely free.
(NIV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(NLT) And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
(TPT) The Holy Spirit of God has sealed you in Jesus Christ until you experience your full salvation. So never grieve the Spirit of God or take for granted his holy influence in your life.

Some people believed this means "sealed" like a vault/safe or something. But a better wording is "marked with a seal".

This is why Jesus is denying knowing them when their works are denying Him.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

In the case of the parable of the ten virgins, they are the kingdom of heaven for why they have the oil and are ready to go, but for believing the lie that they can receive the Holy Spirit again apart from salvation or for a sign by tongues or by a phenomenon is why they are out to the market thus in iniquity that is denying Him for why He does not know them in leaving them behind from attending the wedding reception within that kingdom of heaven... but the foolish are still in His kingdom of Heaven as they are the kingdom of heaven as they were with the wise before the Bridegroom had come.

In the case of a former believer that would deny Him verbally, for why He would deny Him when He comes as the Bridegroom..... yet He is faithful for He still abides.

2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Reiterating ... Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

This is why even former believers and not just professing believers found in iniquity are called to repent so they can obtain that eternal glory that comes with our salvation in Christ Jesus to be that vessel unto honor in His House.

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

His foundation is sure just as His seal of adoption is for why He will lose none of all the Father has given him but they can be cast out from the Marriage Supper but not from the kingdom of Heaven nor out of His hand.

So when you discern with Him how former believers are still saved but at risk of not being received as vessels unto honor in His House to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven because they were not departing from iniquity, and thus disqualified as in reprobates, this is why there are vessels unto dishonor in His House, as left behind to die but only to be resurrected after the great tribulation as the vessels of wood & earth that are still in His kingdom of Heaven.

Keeping it short.. God be willing, I shall continue...

Like Esau over giving up his birth right for a meal as he did wept bitterly for it, but even though the prodigal son did give up his inheritance for wild living and can never get it back in being that vessel unto honor in His House, he is still son as a vessel unto dishonor, as a vessel of wood & earth that shall serve the king of kings on earth.
1Tim 4:1; But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Tim 4:2; by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
Those who are engaging in tongues for private use as gained by receiving what they believe is the "Holy Spirit" apart from salvation or those sinners seeking to be saved in that environment as seeking proof of salvation or the receiving the Holy Spirit by that sign of tongues, are in iniquity because it is by that same rudiment that those who experience "slain in the spirit" and "holy laughter" movement by... assuming they are receiving the Holy Spirit again apart from salvation.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

So when you apply all of that above to your reference below, one may discern that by knowing Jesus Christ is in us since salvation is why they should know that other phenomenon is not the real Holy Spirit, otherwise it is hypocrisy

1 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Many do say that they believe He is in us, but yet they believe they can receive Him again by a sign which is hypocrisy.

I believe that is one of the iniquities that Jesus is calling this church in Revelation to repent from as they do utter the depths of Satan for which they speak.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

That is what they get for following a stranger's voice which is tongues for private use gained not by coming to Jesus Christ for it but by a phenomenon that takes their eyes off of the Son in worship by their visitations or by that tongue.

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

And yet Jesus says about that other fold He must bring because they are His sheep which went astray for following a stranger's voice but at their resurrection after the great tribulation, they will literally hear the voice of the King of kings and be of the one fold & one Shepherd.

John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

That adds & confirms His words to me that those left behind are still His & thus still saved but missed out in being partakers of the first fruits of the resurrection at the rapture event for not being ready but found in iniquity.

Luke 8:12 are unbelievers for why the seed is not in them.
Luke 8:13-15 have received the seed but only one of the other 3 actually bore fruit as His disciples, but all three had received the seed, the Word of God, hence Christ.
Luke 13:8; "And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;
Luke 13:9; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.'
"

Even with Jesus watering and fertilizing some trees, they simply refuse to bear fruit.
Sometimes a saved believer is bearing fruit as a disciple until they stop being pruned by Him be it out of pride, or foolishly in sowing to the works of the flesh, they are ensnared by a sin or cannot believe they have been led wrong by the church or a famous evangelist, and so then they are no longer abiding in Him & His words as His disciples... until they check with Him to trust Him to help them receive the word so they can be pruned and bear more fruit as His disciple.

Regardless of the ones that stopped being pruned by Him and no longer abiding in Him & His words, and thus cut off, He still abides in them for He is faithful.

Since our confidence is in Him to finish His work in us to His glory, how can that not apply to those left behind for why He will burn off of that foundation all works that deny him and offend so they can be partaker of His holiness for surely that foundation remains as that seal of adoption does too for why there are vessels unto dishonor in Hsi House testifying to the power of God in salvation for it pleases God to save those who believe the preaching of the cross.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I believe He will do this work even for those unrepentant saints and former believers left behind.

I agree that there is a damnation coming but not what you think, but it is severe enough that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth over the loss of their first inheritance of being that vessel unto honor in His House.

To be damned forever as that vessel unto dishonor in His House, that vessel of wood & earth, is not a small loss for why God has to wipe the tears from their eyes, thus performing a miracle to get the over that loss.

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Every believer will be in the kingdom of Heaven but not every saved believer will be ready for the Bridegroom to get in to the wedding reception.

The first fruit of the resurrection will be like the angels that live for ever and never marry and live in the City of God; hence the vessels unto honor, the vessels of gold & silver

Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels
; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Those resurrected after the great tribulation, only the power of the second death is not over them thus inferring the power of the first death still does, thus the vessels unto dishonor, the vessels of wood & earth.

Revelation 20:1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The vessels of wood and earth are marrying for how the generations will be coming from them during that 1000 year reign and although the power of the second death are not over those resurrected after the great tribulation, it still is for the generations coming from them as well as the fits death which is the physical death. I suspect that is what the tree of life is for in that City of God as it is for them but hardly for the first fruits.

After being Satan being defeated for his short rebellion after being released from the pit, and thrown in the lake of fire, along with death & hell and all whose names are not written in the Book of Life, then death is swallowed up and those resurrected after the great tribulation and the remaining loyalists of that generations following them will live forever and cannot die BUT they will still need to eat from the tree of life for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

So there is a damnation coming on saved believer for not abiding in Him as His disciples by His grace & by his help but they are still His and thus still saved including those who do not get resurrected from the grave at the rapture event but their spirits are with the Lord to await for their resurrection after the great tribulation.

Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Which last day as in what order will a believer find himself resurrected in?

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

2 Timothy 2:
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

May every believer go to Jesus Christ before that throne of grace for help trusting Him to deliver them from every evil work in being ready as well as being willing to go before the Bridegroom comes.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

In regards to sealed... what is that believer sealed unto? Unto that day of redemption.

How do you apply what that seal is to do towards and for that day of redemption?

When all of the Biblical facts are taken together topically, Scripture teaches that a saved person can cut himself off from Christ and end up in eternal fire, despite the "war games" certain people try to make with Scripture. God does not contradict Himself, ever...therefore, when a person tries to take a passage that apparently contradicts another, that person demonstrates that he/she doesn't know how to read and interpret Scripture. All Scripture harmonizes with all other Scripture, so when your interpretation of a text directly contradicts a multitude of other passages, you are wrong...not Scripture.

..

This OP and a few others on here are known false teachers who preach the once saved always saved lie from the pits of hell. People like the OP don’t agree with what Jesus himself said:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

So these false teachers will regurgitate Scriptures that seemingly support their false doctrines but can never reconcile with those Scriptures that point out their falsehood.

Even apostle Paul said we are to WORK OUT our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). According to these false teachers of OSAS, Paul wrote a useless and ludicrous advice to the Philippian church since they should always be saved no matter what happened to their faith.

Also the Gospel clearly said whoever believes in the Son Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life. So if one stops believing in Jesus at some point in their faith, according to these false teachers they are still saved even though they have stopped believing in the Son. According to these false teachers these apostates of the faith are still saved since they once were when they believed, even if the apostates stopped meeting the condition of salvation: faith in Jesus. LOL

All of these verses clearly points out we are in the process of being saved since none of us has even received eternal life, and we are not once saved always saved. These false teachers will face the most severe judgment for refusing to repent.

I can work it out and have worked it out but you seem to not address those scripture to prove that it is not about what I am applying them for. Just dismissing it leaves me where I am at.

Titus 1:16 says that works can deny Him, right? Can you agree with that?

And so if a former believer denies Him, He will deny them, right? 2 Timothy 2:12 KJV BUT 2 Timothy 2:13 testifies that if we believe not, He is faithful for He still abides. Can you address and confirm that or tell me what verse 13 is about?

Now if you are stuck there, then follow my reasoning as Paul continues to give an example of a former believer in verse 18 but says "nevertheless" in verse 19 of 2 Timothy 2:18-21 KJV about how that foundation is sure as that seal is also for why they and all those in iniquity should depart from iniquity so they can be vessels unto honor in His House in verse 21, vessels of gold & silver of verse 20. But look at what other vessels there are in that great house in verse 20, vessels of dishonor which are vessels of wood & earth. What separates the vessels unto dishonor from the vessels of honor? The vessels unto dishonor did not depart from iniquity.

Point? Jesus did not know them because they were workers of iniquity as any iniquity that denies Him He will deny knowing them, see? But He still abides because the scripture I just showed you has Him still abiding even in former believers.

Unless they repent before the Bridegroom comes, they are at risk of being left behind to die but their spirits will be with the Lord in heaven awaiting for their resurrection after the great tribulation as vessels of wood & earth.

But there is no emphasis on the believer to work out their salvation when they are supposed to do it with fear & trembling, meaning Who is doing the work in them? God is. They are to respect God & place confidence in God to finish.

Philippian 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Do you accept verse 13 as why they are to be trembling in how they are to work out their salvation? He is where our confidence should rely on and not on ourselves for why we should be in fear and much trembling les we resort to our own power in trying to save ourselves or keep ourselves saved or finish His work in us by keeping a commitment or a promise thus denying the power thereof in how we are to follow Hi by faith in Jesus Christ .

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. 8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.... 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

To clarify, those trying to follow Him by keeping a commitment to follow Christ or doing the 7 promises of the Promise Keepers program are not of faith and thus not working out their salvation with fear & trembling because they are not respecting Jesus Christ to finish His work in them to His glory.

Now pay attention. If our confidence and faith is in Him to finish what He has started in us, then what do you think He will do for those left behind that went astray? He will finish His work even in those left behind. Amen?

I have only been here a couple of days and he has been copy pasting this same twisted doctrine to me non-stop. I tried to reason with him as well and he will not be corrected no matter how much scripture you post to prove he is wrong. I said the same thing you did, this is false doctrine .

I just told him a few minutes ago that I was done talking to him. There is no reasoning with him, it is a waste of time.

Yah, he is a bias defender, and they don't listen to the facts of what Scripture says. All they do is defend what they have been taught whether it is right or wrong.

For those that speak against OSAS.... when scripture seemingly opposes scripture, wisdom is needed to apply His words rightly.

Indeed...and you have proven time again that you don't have any godly wisdom. Scripture does not contradict Scripture, so when the Holy Spirit says through John that...

1 John 5:16
If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life--to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.

When John says "his brother" he directly implies Christian brother. He says that for the Christian there IS SIN THAT LEADS TO DEATH...that means OSAS is false doctrine. There...demonstrated with a single verse that completely destroys the nonsense you cling to. You do know that if you persist in that false teaching...that makes you a false teacher...you know, those whom John addresses here...

1 John 2:19
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

..

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

As I have already shown you earlier on this and other verses that incorrectly translate sphragizo (σφραγίζω) to read "sealed" when it means "marked," this verse does NOT help your nonsense false doctrine. calvinists read it out to mean that you are somehow magically sealed up inside a giant zip-loc baggie for heaven and nothing can prevent you from ending up in heaven. That is not only childish nonsense carnal reasoning, it also goes directly against numerous passages. You keep repeating the same passages over and over again that directly contradict multitudes of other passages, even while claiming yourself that Scripture does not contradict Scripture.

You are spiritually blind, that is why you cannot see what Scripture actually teaches.
