And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22

Bad days can cause you to think there's no hope. You might even entertain the idea that God has abandoned you and left you stuck in darkness. Yet God has promised that He'd never leave or forsake you. This verse suggests He will intervene and shorten the duration of your struggle.
