Jesus said to the church in Laodicea....! These are believers who are luke warm and Jesus said he would spew them out! Is a backslider luke warm....hot or cold? Regardless, there is repentence, I understand that....priase GOD!!!

I have thought about this thread a lot.... The word "Backslider"....is a beliver who has sinned! I do believe that a backslider is saved. Back sliding is not a salvation issue. There is forgivness....my point is this: There is a difference in a believer who stumbles into sin and one who practices sin. When we turn our backs on God and practice sin....that is the point where we should be concerned! David backslide as did so many others in the Bible. But, we should be careful when are comfortable in our sin, justify our sin, practice sin and have no intention of reconciliation. God loves us all and wants to see us repent and seek Him! I hold fast to that truth....the rest is in GOD's hands....
