I am so sorry you are feeling the way you are. It can completely consume you if let go. Please remember God loves each of us more than we love our own children. That is very difficult to wrap your mind around, but He does love us more than we know.
As far as God not answering prayers, I could write for hours about it but I'll share with you of few thoughts and scriptures. First thought that comes to my mind when prayers are not answered is the example of Paul who had a 'thorn in the flesh' in which he prayed to God 3 times for God to heal him. How did God respond? In 2Corinthians 12:9 His response is 'And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness...'
Paul thorn help him be more humble and 'buffeted' him.
Spreadtheword, I encourage you to take an HONEST look at EVERYTHING that is going on in your life and see what things you may fall short in. We ALL fall short of what God commands us to do. The important thing is to realize when we fall short and sin. As soon as you sin you must deeply repent of that sin in order for God to hear you prayer. Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
The final thought I'll leave you with is in Matthew 6:10 where Christ is giving us the outline prayer of how to pray. In vs 10 read closely, Thy kingdom come, Thy WILL BE DONE in earth as it is in heaven. If you are walking with God and living a life of trying to grow to be like Christ then you should know that if your prayer is not answered that it is Gods will and the outcome of the unanswered prayer undoubtably will turn out for your best interest.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
