Arguments for OSAS

Greetings,

perhaps the problem is when a man stops believing?

For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was He grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Hebrews 3:16-19

Bless you ....><>
That's the part people don't want to beleive, that people can turn away.

Whether he is or isn't, isn't the question. The question is, what does the passage say.
1 John 5: "11And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12He who has the Son has [d]life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, [e]and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."

I am saved. I know I am saved. I know I have eternal life.

What does this have to do with the passage in question?

Everything. Confident assurance in salvation and eternal life. Always saved.

None of my Bibles say that. Not a single one says "all are sinning and fall short", they all say "all have sinned" (past tense) and fall short.

You are living in sinless perfection? If so, say so clearly

Please tell me what 1 Johm 5 has to do with the above

Plead to God; HE will direct you.

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.
James 3:17

It's amazing that there are 11 pages to answer a question that Jesus clearly addressed.

Yet the camps exist to this day, and in very large numbers: OSAS and anti-OSAS.

All I have to say to end my part in this thread is: KEEP THE FAITH - OSAS.
