[Matthew 28:19 KJV] "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
[Mark 16:16 KJV] "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." ********** Jesus was sending the apostles to baptize.
[1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV] "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." ********* This commandment to baptize all nations doesn't apply to Paul seeing he wasn't sent to baptize. We aren't given the commandment to baptize all nations either.

Well, this one’s different in a matter of speaking. I’m still curious. Since no questions are being asked, I assume it’s meant for personal interpretation based on your observations of what Paul said in this single verse to the church in Corinth. My curiosity leads me to wonder if you know the context behind why Paul said what he did to the church in Corinth in that verse?

The Corinthians were placing authority on others than Paul who later would say to follow him.

In what way were they placing "authority" on others rather than Paul?

[2 Corinthians 12:11 KJV] "I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing." *********** Paul had to defend his apostleship

And that correlates with the subject of Baptism how? Keeping in mind that it's against the backdrop of the two verses you were using in your initial post which were dealing with the subject of Baptism being mentioned by Christ that it be done, and Paul saying his purpose was to preach the Gospel and not for Baptizing?

They were following authority based on their baptisms
As far as the post, Jesus commanded only the apostles to go to the nations. Jesus sent them to water baptize, not Paul
