The image of Trump as Jesus that he posted (see post #19 above) originally came from one of his worshiping fans. The interesting thing is he replaced a U.S. soldier with a horned creature with wings. A side by side image showing the spiritual being above Trump can be seen in this article.

To be fair Trump said he is not Christian with words. He has shown who is above him with an image. He removed the posted image after furious criticism from even his most die-hard supporters, who accused him of “blasphemy” and urged him to remove it.

May the Holy Spirit give us the strength to stand with Jesus our God and not back peddle when faced with furious criticism.

I will welcome mail-in voting with all states, or none.

In the bible whenever a person worships an angel, the angel immediately rebukes him saying only God is to be worshiped. He should have done that. Trump chose to recently re-post it himself. Not only that but he added a demonic looking (to my Christian eyes) figure above himself before re-posting.

Please answer post #22, #24. It could be a depiction of some little known Godly biblical character that I'm not aware of. It's certainly important enough for him to take the time to add it. But then why is he saying that he's not Christian?

Why not?, i suppose it depends on how you define "Love", if you mean to care deeply about their suffering and do what you can to alleviate that suffering, then why should your "Love " be confined to those close to you, read Matthew 5 46-48, have you never been deeply affected by scenes of human suffering and death happening thousands of miles away, does your heart not break for the pitiful scenes of bloodshed and devastation you witness, dont you campaign for the suffering and injustice to end, dont you give your money to stop children dying through lack of food or drinking dirty water, do you not see Christ in the faces of the poor and the marginalised, i'm not talking of some "blanket prayer", although we need to pray as well, but practical actions to shine the light of our Love and compassion so that God may be glorified. But it is our responsibility as Christians to help those in need, wherever they may be, and to understand that when we are helping them we are helping the Christ we profess to follow. And its also our responsibility as Christians to strive for Justice, both in our own lives and in the actions of the Human organisations we can influence. We must be the Light in the Darkness, and we must act in a self denying and sacrificial way to show Gods Love in this suffering world.

Have you read Matthew 5 38-39, " You have heard it said " An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, But i say to you, Do NOT resist Evil, and whoever strikes you on the right cheek , offer the left cheek also". How does that justify retaliation?.

I'd be interested in your reference for Christs teaching that if " youre for Muslims youre an enemy of God", and you dont think that thousands of Muslims, probably millions havent been killed by people who professed to be "Christians", you really need to understand that Hate and intolerance and the violence and bloodshed it fosters are not the province of any one race, religion or nationality.
