Predestination

Revelation is not in our canon (never was), nor should it be in yours.

It wasn't officially scripture until voted upon at the Synod of Hippo Regius in North Africa (A.D. 393), after being noted as spurious by most Bishops at Nicaea (cf. Eusebius). I doubt it would take 350 some odd years for God to make up his mind.

Even then, though, Rev 1:5 is not a quote from Jesus, but rather an attribute listed by the author.

So... where did Jesus (himself) say this?

Thanks,
Rhema

Jesus the Son of man the prophet chief apostles of Christ spoke the words of the Holy Father not seen

listed by the author. There is only one "Let there be" and it was "God the alone good" author

Can't build a faith on spurious the majority. God does not take 350 odd years to make up his mind. He finished that labor of His love on the 6th day.

Today if we hear sola scriptura (all things written in the law and prophets and do not harden our hearts and chase after oral traditions of dead venerable fathers, Our Holy Father will then give us rest and understanding as to why two different warning working as one to protect the integrity both were given. Two the witness representing Christ not seen has spoken

The first (Deuteronomy 4:2) in respect to changing the meaning of one word seeing it can change the authority of the author Christ and give it over to the oral traditions of dying mankind.

Deuteronomy 4:2 ;Ye shall not add unto the word (singular)which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it,(singular) that ye may keep the commandments (plural) of the Lord your God which I command you.

Similar law, this time not in respect to one word but the whole sealed with seven seals till the end of time.

Removing the last warning Revelation only reveals the first Deuteronomy was ignored.

Revelation 22 18-19 ;For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:;And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Look around, and then tell me why He's doing such a crappy job of it.
Rhema, I doubt that God gives a whit about your opinion in how He runs the universe. Do you think God is not in charge over, and foreordained all things, even the worst sin in the history of the universe:

“for of a truth in this city against thy holy Servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together, to do whatsoever thy hand and thy council foreordained to come to pass.” (Acts 4:27-28, ASV)
or

Act 4:27-28 NRSVue “For in this city, in fact, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the gentiles and the peoples of Israel, gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, (28) to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.”

Keep in mind, the wicked men did not know what they were doing, but they were playing out in detail what God had decreed for glory of His people:

1Co 2:7-8 NRSVue “But we speak God’s wisdom, a hidden mystery, which God decreed before the ages for our glory (8) and which none of the rulers of this age understood, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

Isa 45:5-7 RV “I am the LORD, and there is none else; beside me there is no God: I will gird thee, though thou hast not known me: (6) that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me: I am the LORD, and there is none else. (7) I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am the LORD, that doeth all these things.

“The Lord has made each thing for its own end; so he has made the wicked for a day of calamity.” (Prov 16:4, REB)

“You meant to do me harm; but God meant to bring good out of it by preserving the lives of many people, as we see today.” (Gen 50:20, REB)

This pastor states divorce is okay as long as there’s a bill of divorcement - shown in the Old Testament. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I’m not going to take any chances. Better not to date period! Why does Gino Jennings call himself Apostle Gino Jennings? I can’t deny he uses Scripture quite impressively.
Why do you need anything written in a book, to verify the truth to you? If you are in the word and the word is in you, then you are one with the word, you are of the truth.

True or false?

True or false?

Its not our word needed to become one .

Please explain?

You offered. . If you are in the word and the word is in you, then you are one with the word.

A person is one with the living word. . . . if he does what its Holy Spirit says. Two working as if one then two can walk as one

We can offer our private interpretation or personal commentary to what we think he is teaching us. But believers are not the source or author of God's living word.

Satan teaching If you are in the word and the word is in you, then you are one with the word. He used prophecy in a attempt at making its author to ne effect

Mathew 4:6-7 ;And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Do you think God is not in charge over, and foreordained all things, even the worst sin in the history of the universe:
Obviously not. God is not evil to foreordain evil things. Sovereignty is not simplistic. And MAN usurped the Sovereignty of God way back in Eden.

Review the three questions that God asks after the Fall, and write down your answers on paper to each of the three questions. What you learn might astonish you.

Why did they add in a comma? "Jesus, whom you anointed to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place."

I know you're married to the NRSVue, but they are truly sloppy with the Greek.

But lets take your translation at face value, indeed, God's hand directed the ministry of Jesus in accord with a rather complex plan, one end resulting in a resurrection. But to take the phrase "whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place WITH JESUS, and pull it out of context to mean everything else, well, you need to fix your context gizmo.

And I was referring to now. Take a look around. God is not in charge of anything, having turned such over to Jesus, who has then placed us in charge. The world is in a mess because Christians are in a mess.

Do I really have to quote Mat. 28:18 & 19? You should know all this by now.

Rhema
A Good God cannot make Evil things.
He Made the Tree Good (cf. Mat 12:33)

Rhema, I doubt that God gives a whit about your opinion in how He runs the universe.
I know that God gives a less of a whit about yours. At least I understand the implications of Mat. 28:18-20

HEY WINGS.... Welcome back.
I've heard about him. He's famous among the angels of God and is of great power and authority of the Holy Ghost. I am honored that you believe I am him. You made my day.
