Following the peace of God

Romans 5

"we HAVE peace, through our Lord Jesus."

Result?

1. Eternal Life
2. Born again
3. Seated in heavenly places in Christ
4. You shall never perish


So, what is our responsibility, now that God has given us eternal peace with Himself, through the blood of Jesus the Lord. ?

What is our responsibility?

Its to have FAITH that this gift of salvation, that maintains our salvation, is eternal.

And what happens as a result of our belief in this eternal peace that we have with God which is kept by the Lord Jesus's Blood, Death, and Resurrection?

Its This... The peace of God that passes all understanding becomes ours, always.

So, when we have faith in that blood of Jesus, when we understand that the Risen Lord is become our Peace with God, then we have followed this verses direction.

Colossians 3..."let the peace of God rule in your HEARTS, to which we are CALLED in one body. (Body of Christ, = the Church).

I wish this was a bit easier in every situation for me, but I have peace in Jesus Christ as my Savior. Thank you for sharing.

We have peace in God, yet we have issues in life.
Jesus said "My peace i leave with you, not as the world gives"....

See, people want to feel good, while they deal with life, and feelings are not the peace of God.
The Peace of God that "is not as the world gives', is not a feeling, its a knowing.
Its a deep sense of wellness, where you know that no matter what, God is going to make it all ok.
