Arguments for OSAS

Those who reject once saved always saved, i.e., once you are reborn by the Holy Spirit, saved and sanctified and now part of our Good Shepherd's sheepfold, now with indwelling Holy Spirit, have a greater will to become apostates than God's will to keep you in the sheepfold. What a shame.

You all need to question, no ... pray as to whether you are in fact born again if you think your free will to apostacize is greater than God's will to keep you from doing so. Because if the Holy Spirit indwells you, then HE who is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

As I said, and as Jesus confirmed, the seeds that fell on good soil were once saved then always saved.
But you are implying that the good seed is saved exclusively by God's intervention - that God holds on to some so that they cannot be lost. That is not what scripture teaches.
The good seed comes to fruition because they allow themselves to continue being watered and nourished by remaining in the vine. They choose to remain faithful and steadfast.
God works with such people and it is a good betrothal - but scripture also teaches that saved believers face many perils of faithfulness and lapse or backslide.
Once saved not always saved.

John 15:15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
3 You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
6 If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.
11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

1Th 5:16 Rejoice always,
5:17 pray without ceasing,
5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
5:20 Do not despise prophecies,
5:21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.

Backsliding is not apostacizing. All of us sin and all of us fall short, every day. Born again believers with the Spirit indwelling will sin, which is backsliding. But the apostate is the one who abandons all faith and is given over to a reprobate mind because they have rejected the one and only Way. The one who endures (good soil, good branch, good servant: all producing fruit) will stay saved. Therefore, they are ONCE saved ALWAYS saved. Thank you, Jesus.

Yes, do so and you will be ONCE saved ALWAYS saved. Amen.

The lengths people go to in trying to form logical arguments for why Jesus is wrong, is amazing.

Jesus is not wrong. You are wrong when you say you are born again, saved by the grace and power of God almighty, have the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT, yet you think your will to apostacize is greater than God's will to keep you in the sheepfold.

Can your will defeat God's will?

An argument for OSAS is an argument that Jesus is wrong.

No. You're wrong, because you put your will above God's will. The only way you can apostacize is if you aren't born again, hence never saved.

Can your will defeat God's will?
Yes disciples or believers or Christians do that - they allow self will to rise again and backslide returning to the flesh (the world).
God will not force you to believe and to remain faithful: He will work with you and edify and encourage, but faithfulness comes from the heart.

Since you are saying the opposite of what Jesus is saying someone is wrong. Since you admitted Jesus isn't wrong, then you've admitted you are.
