Would this not require a homage to Mohammad as their prophet, as opposed to the anti Christ himself being worshiped as God? This would seem
contrary as I do not think Mohammad ever claimed to be God, but just a prophet of God. So who would the Muslims worship as God?

You simply dont know enough about Islam. They have their own version of a semi-Jesus redeemer(satan likes to copy the truth while hidden in a lie) to come, shortly after either the fourth or fifth Imam, cant remember. Maudi or something like that. I can look it up if you wish. Their redeemer they expect will be the anti-christ , as for wanting to be worshiped and they only worshiping a skewered image of God they have now, satan always disapoints even his own faithful. Satan will use a combination of Islamic zealots to terrorize the world and atheists to keep them in check, and then amaze them both when he does signs and miracles and proclaims himself to be worshiped.

"The ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet: but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind
and shall give their power and strength to the beast."

One hour in Gods timing is equal to 40 years. 1 day is 1,000 years.

The fourth and final KINGDOM must be visible if we believe that we are around 40 years from conclusion.

The ten kings are synonymous with the 10 toes (feet) of iron and clay as they are the very thing that the rock cut out without hands breaks apart.
Daniel 2:34 "Thou sawest til that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces."

The stone that was cut without hands has to be the begotten of God i.e. Jesus and his brothers who come to set up the kingdom.

"And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the (harlot), and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire."

It is hard to consider that the final kingdom is any religion as the kings of the final kingdom hate all religions. The harlot that rides upon the beast is religion so the
beast itself can't be religion it has to be government. She is the mother of ALL harlots which would include all religions. Why suppress just one, get rid of
them all and peace will be achieved? I see that it is possible that through governmental regulation, edict, etc there will be a shedding of all religious affiliation
as time passes. Do we think this has already begun? China, Russia, Iran, N Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Comoros, Uzbekistan,
Nicaragua, Nigeria, and Sudan to name a few. In the US we are more subtle in that religious freedoms are consumed by discrimination laws. And this also
eventually leads to loss of freedom in favor of peace.
It is the platform of the final kingdom to be established upon PEACE. Dan 8:25......and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes....
