Who are we worshipping?

Loyal
People worship God In the local church -- as the New Testament teaches us to do. Paul started church during his several missionary trips. There were local bodies of believers that met in those various locations.

Believers Need to be fellow shipping on a regular basis with other fellow believers and invite others to join, too.

And there are those who do feel 'religious security' by going to church. And there are those who feel comfortable by going through religious rituals as part of the service.

RCC is a wide-spread belief system that entails a Lot of ritual. As do many other belief systems.

Corporate worship / prayer are very important.

We are given guidelines for who is to be leading church worship. Men are to be the spiritual leaders in church and in the home.

You know better, there was no such thing called church but a pagan idol worshipping buildings in the book of Acts. The word for church was “Circe” it was a place for pagan gods. The true word for us was the “congregation” We came together to worship together with God. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit in you, you cannot worship God or worship with us because it is impossible. They who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth those are the people God wants to worship with. Now if the sinners hears this, They might say, what must I do to be able to worship Him. You have to be born into the family of God . We worship God where ever we are. God does not dwell in buildings or temples. God dwells in this people. For you are the Temple of God. You are the body of Christ. Jesus or Paul or Peter have never told anyone to Go to a church. Some words in the Bible has been corrupted to lead us astray.❤️

What do you think the New Testament church Is?

You've read about Paul's 3 missionary journeys', right? ! He started the seven local church groups in Asia Minor. The first two chapters Also talks about those churches.

The Prison Epistles // Galatians, Ephesians, Phillipians, Collosians. and there's the church of Corinth also // 1 and 2 corinthians.

And, yes, unfortunately the unGodly people Did abuse the Jewish temple. Jesus Christ got angry with those who wanted to use the Temple as a selling place for produce. He knocked over their tables used for the buying and selling.

And, yes 'we' Are to worship God the Father in spirit and in truth.

Let's hope they will be asking -- what must I do to be saved. And they will be told to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. And Then, they Will have the desire To worship God. And they can Also be assured that there is nothing They Need to do to acquire their salvation. No good works on their part are needed. That nothing They can do will help their salvation to be more 'complete'.

But No words in the bible have been corrupted to lead anyone astray. God's Word is totally inspired and trust worthy. It is 'people' who tend to wrongly apply and / or lift passages out of their context to 'say' all kinds of 'things'.

And, yes, the body of each born-again believer Is the temple of the Holy Spirit. And where two or three believers are gathered together -- there is Christ in the midst of them. In other words, they can be worshiping God together.

Hmmm... It seems Jesus entered the temple frequently.

Matt 21:12; And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.

Matt 21:14; And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Matt 21:23; When He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said, "By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?"

Matt 24:1; Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.

Mark 11:11; Jesus entered Jerusalem and came into the temple; and after looking around at everything, He left for Bethany with the twelve, since it was already late.

Mark 12:35; And Jesus began to say, as He taught in the temple, "How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

Luke 19:45; Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling,

Luke 21:37; Now during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mount that is called Olivet.

Luke 21:38; And all the people would get up early in the morning to come to Him in the temple to listen to Him.

John 8:2; Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and He sat down and began to teach them.

John 8:20; These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.

The apostles also.

Acts 3:3; When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms.

Acts 5:21; Upon hearing this, they entered into the temple about daybreak and began to teach. Now when the high priest and his associates came, they called the Council together, even all the Senate of the sons of Israel, and sent orders to the prison house for them to be brought.

Acts 21:26; Then Paul took the men, and the next day, purifying himself along with them, went into the temple giving notice of the completion of the days of purification, until the sacrifice was offered for each one of them.

These aren't even half the verses I found, but it's enough I think.

All true, but I do think, a temple in the so called biblical days of King David , Jesus and the Apostles and the so called “church” are completely 2 different things. They are not made the same. They do not have the same materials. Now I could be wrong. I wonder how “The Bereans” would handle this?❤️

you are correct. Who is in the House of Jacob?

Luke 1
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Jesus live during the Mosaic age. He was bound by the Law. He would have nothing to do with Gentile unless they approached or questioned Him. Israel were the chosen people.
The Jews continues following the Law long after Jesus Crucifixion. You cannot follow the Law and be under Grace it is one or the other.

If you believe Jesus suffered and died on the Cross with all you heart you will be saved from the wrath of God. The true mean of the Church are the "Called Out". We are call out to become member of the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.

Most churches are confused. In order to understand God's inspired Word you have to get the big picture. And that's very hard to do. I don't know everything but I do search the scriptures for answers.
if you ask every denominational church questions about anything from scripture, you will find they will not be consistent. Bible education does not mean they are able to discern.

Adam was cast out because of disobedience. After that 2000 years man was left with his own choices and failed.
Then God chose one man; His descendants would be like the stars in the sky. They would be blessed; if we bless them God will bless us if we curse him , God will curse us.
Jesus descended from the from David and will inherit the Kingdom for ever.

Samuel 7:
14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

Isaiah 9:
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.

Jesus commanded His disciples:
Matthew 10 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 15 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

The Lord from heaven chose one man to go to the Gentile to teach the Gospel of Grace but so not to mix with the Jewish believer of the Law
Acts 9:
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

Saul who becomes Paul was chose specifically by the risen Savior Jesus to be a chosen vessel for His names sake. He was to ultimately teach the Gospel of Grace to the rest of the World.
Jesus completed His Mission which applied to the Laws of Moses and Now begins with Paul who is chosen by God to deliver the Gospel of Grace.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: and there is a pause for the Jews until the rapture, then begins The Seven Year Tribulation. At the end of the seven year tribulation, Jesus returns.

Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Exodus 19:6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Isaiah 2 :2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 59:
20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

Matthew 28:
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The reason, they worship a institutional church, if they worship God, they would speak the same thing on different levels according to their obedience to the Word of God.❤️ Because sin blinds us to the truth of Gods Word.
