I feel so lost in my thoughts

Loyal
Hi -- I'm about to be 71 with 4 very grown kids. A deceased husband and No boyfriend. So -- lost in your thoughts. How old are your boys. Does your boyfriend help with them? I'd imagine that with 4 teens, you'd have Lots of thoughts 'outside of yourself'. What kind of thoughts Do you get lost in? There's a passage in Phillipians that tells us what to focus our thoughts On. chapter 4: verse 8 "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report -- if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things."

Hey Yamira, im Douglas its nice to meet you im from Kansas City Missouri here in the USA im 43 and would be happy to be a shoulder to lean on what thoughts do you feel lost in? Such as Sue indicated we have to focus our thoughts, I also find myself that way primarily when i feel no one understands me or doesnt care to understand me. In those days I find myself heavy in Gods word trying to find answers. We are here for you !!

Hello @Yamira,

You posted this in 2019, I am sorry it was not responded to at that time, for you appear to have left the forum now.

I hope that you are no longer feeling 'lost', that you have found your anchorage, and are at rest. As you approached a Christian forum about these thoughts, you must have believed the solution lay with God, and that the answer to your problems lay within the Scripture. The Lord Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost, and His arms are open to receive all who will come to Him as their Saviour and Lord. It is through Him that we can approach God, be reconciled to Him and find peace of mind. For, because the Lord Jesus Christ took upon Himself the penalty for our sins, we can receive forgiveness and be received into fellowship with the Father and the Son by His Spirit.Yes, We can become sons of God, and receive the gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ His only Begotten Son.

I hope you have already found the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is obviously seeking you, and have found His peace which passes all understanding.

With love in Christ Jesus
Chris
