Brother I asked those questions in seriousness because you said you were born again in your mothers womb, were you serious with that?? the reason I asked those questions was not to offend, but to understand better, on line--over the internet it is very hard to tell wear people are coming from for me, so with me and my limited understanding the biblical teaching of being born again, and my personal experience of actually being born again, one must repent and confess Jesus as Lord and savior when they are of sound mind, so I do not know how you can say you were born again in your mothers womb, I was trying to understand you better,

I am sorry, i did not understand.

The Lord has always been with me, to my earliest memories. When i was very young i knew the voice of Jesus, and my love for my God swells constantly within. Everything i have ever asked for is answered. (I hardly ask for something for me) i take on the suffering of others and offer it up to the Lord.

The Lord is the center of my life. Remember what Jesus says about casting out of spirits. A house divined against itself can not stand. The Lord uses me to teach ministers and help ministers to remove the darkness. I have done this for years.

You should never belittle yourself Dave. You are great in the eyes of God. I have heard you say a few times, your little faith, or limited self. Because in God, you have no limits. When God creates, He always creates perfection. And when our love is deep in the Lord, no sin can be present. You are perfect in Gods eyes.

Born in the Holy Spirit. Can a person recieve the Holy Spirit in the womb. That is something of God's doing. We can try to figure it all out. But some things we plainly dont understand, even if we think we do.

Seeing the fruits gives a better understanding.

For myself, i would only call God a lier if i said i was not filled with the Holy Spirit. I would be calling God a lier if i were to say He has never used me to heal and cast out demons.

There are many things i don't fully understand either. But what i do know, Jesus is my Lord and Savior (and still my brother )

@Bill -- when you've said that you were saved the same way as John the Baptist was -- spirit filled while still in the womb -- there IS reason to be concerned. John the Baptist was the physical , spiritual forerunner of Jesus Christ. He was a real person in history but he also a very special purpose. He died in prison with his head being severed and given to the Queen. But he's the Only person in history that Was 'in the spirit' while in the womb. Because That would suggest that Everyone was born a believer and we Know that isn't how salvation takes place. In John 3 -- Nicodemus is asking Jesus about being born-again and Jesus tells him a person can't be born physically a second time -- but that it's a spiritual birth that takes place After they are born physically,. And other portions say that a person needs to be able to understand right from wrong and that they, Personally, need to acknowledge they have sinned and can't save themselves. And the individual person accepts or rejects the blood of Jesus Christ as sufficient. So -- the question remains -- have You ever done that.

John the Baptist was the only one we know of .

Peter is the only human walking on the water other than Jesus (God). Does this mean no one else can walk on water. Or Paul bitten by a snake, or Paul having locked gates, unlock.

Ive heard you say a number of times how we need scripture to confirm. So there it is.

Is scripture only there to confirm what we want to hear, or to confirm God's movements in our lives ?

And what Jesus Christ told Nicodemus about being born physically wasn't enough -- being born spiritually Also is necessary.

And the Gospel unto salvation as stated in 1 Corthinthians 15 -- believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again the 3rd day which is according to Scripture.

And needing to be old enough to understand right from wrong. And being able to understand what sin is. And being able to make a decision for yourself.

You seem to think that we're playing some sort of religious game with you. We're Not. We Are concerned that you realize what salvation Is and that you -- as well as everyone else in this world -- needs to either accept or reject.

The Gospel encompasses everything spoken of by his Apostles who spoke it when being moved by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is not just believing in something conjured up in our head, or what some man said, it is based only on truth. It is vitally important that what I believe is based on the true Gospel, with right understanding (Wisdom).

There are many “other Gospels”, and many other “Jesus's” that are not of the truth.

Gal 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—
Gal 1:7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

One of the “false” Gospels being spoken today is that God is love, so he overlooks everything we do no matter what it is. God even forgives fallen angels who have already been cast down into everlasting chains of darkness until they are cast into the lake of fire.

Surely God is “love” but he is also a God of "justice" as he disciplines, and chastises those who are his sons when they do wrong. If anyone who thinks they are a child and is never disciplined, then they are not a child of God!

Heb 12:6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

Heb 12:7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
Heb 12:8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

Notice: God disciplines the one he loves. If we think the Lord just overlooks our wrongdoings we are deceived into believing something that is not the Gospel of our salvation!

It makes no difference if our love for others is so great we give up not only our lives but give away everything we own. That also is a deception, and not the Gospel!

Anybody can do such things if they really believe they know and have the truth!
Known terrorists who do not know the truth lay down their lives all the time for what they believe. The only problem is they are believing the lie.

We think doing these things proves we have God because God is love!

I got saved (born again) when I was 26 years old. My entire life from as far back as I can possibly remember I never at any time disbelieved that God existed, nor did ever disbelieve Jesus died for me on the cross. Knowing that did not make me Christain, it did not cause me to be "born again"! I was a child of the devil as much as anyone could be. It was not until after I heard the Gospel of my salvation, and I prayed to God to forgive me of my sin, and confess that I believed with all my heart (not my brain in my head) that God raised up Jesus from the dead. That was more than 40 plus years ago, and from that moment on I have never been the same person.

We do not come to God based on our own way, but how God says to come based on his Word from where faith comes from!
I was a sinner from my mother's womb. just like everyone else! This is why it is called being "born again" not born "once"!

Rom 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

We can try to add To or subtract or adjust His plan to Our liking -- but that does NOT change God's plan. And His is the one that will get a person to either heaven or hell for Eternity.

I refuse to answer and more questions about myself, because you guys are lazy about using the Gifts of the Spirit.

If you had used Discernment then you would already know the answers.

When you take the time the learn how to use the Gifts, then a great many questions you have can be answered.

The problem isnt whether you have the Gifts or not. The problem is you cant recognize them when others use them and you dont know how to use them yourselves.

Bill, you should know that the "gifts" of the Holy Spirit are tied directly to the "truth" of the "Word of God", which is why he is called "the Spirit of truth"
We here on this forum already know, and have already discerned the truth of what you say. If it does not line up with the Word of God, then it is not true!

1 Corinthians 12 talks about spiritual gifts. many gifts are listed and then vs 11 "But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as HE wills. Discerning of Spirits is listed among these vs 10.
Spiritual gifts are given to each believer, but no one is given All the spiritual gifts. And they are to be used in conjunction with the local church and helping it to run smoothly. No one learns how to use all the spiritual gifts because no one Has all of them. 'we' don't Ask for any of them. They are Given as the Holy Spirit decides who He deems necessary.

I think you're getting 'spiritual gifts' mixed up with 'fruits of the Spirit'. These are found in Ephesians 5: 22 and 23. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control "
