I am challenging your perfection, you can't reply with 'I don't sin'. I am asking why God is not using you for 1/1000th of what He used David or Mother Theresa for.
I welcome your challenge, so I can glorify God and the name of Jesus Christ.
What did God use David for?
Not only did the lineage of Christ proceed from Him, but he was acknowledged as faithful to God, in spite of his desperate circumstances.
Now, while I cannot be part of Christ's "fore-lineage", I can be part of His "post-lineage" having been reborn of the same seed Jesus was.
Jesus isn't ashamed to call me "brother". (Heb 2:11)
As for David's faithfulness, he didn't have the gifts of baptism into Christ's death and burial to facilitate his rebirth in order to kill the old man and be raised with Christ to walk in newness of life...so he eventually gave in to fleshly lusts.
We have been given those gifts, along with the gift of the Holy Ghost so we can proceed without falling as David did.
M. Theresa?
Her charity and love for the down-trodden are widely known, but I find no mention of your doubts of her "perfection".
Do you doubt her conversion to being a servant of God too?
I help where I can, as did she.
Have you been married before or had kids? Would you call your loyal, yet imperfect wife and children rebellious haters?
Never been married or had kids.
If my wife and kids were imperfect...to God...I would call them rebellious haters.
She, they are to treat folks as they want to be treated, right?
If they treat me, or others, with hate and rebellion...what am I to call them?
I sure hope your wife and kids treat you like you treat God. (Eph 5:22-24)
I think God IS using me, as He sees fit.
