I am not sure what you are trying to say. You start with OSAS / a touch of Calvinism (with the spirit returning to God) and then end with an Arminian statement.

Anytime we make ism's out of the living word it blinds us to the life of that word.

Since no one can come to the Son unless drawn by the Father doubt of salvation in self or any other is doubt of the Father that draws us and the Son that he drew us and the Holy Spirit who perfects us.
As a man thinks in his heart so is he.

I see myself as eternal spirit experiencing a temporary existence in a soul through a (dead) body.
Dead to sin and alive to the body of Christ.

try not to instill doubt in the hearts of the weak or unlearned,someone already has that job.

We are able to "come to God" and we are able to "seek Him". In fact the seeking is required.
Also lost in this verse... "must believe that He is"... God told Moses "I am" ... we must believe that He is.

I am not Catholic but I agree 100% with them on this.

Catholics do teach that. It is lateral thought off a dedicated commitment to God. Unless adultery sounds like part and parcel of a marriage...

But ironically you are. When you imply that God looks at us and sees us covered...albeit we can be in a mortal sin.

Can you trust the repentance of a mortal sinner? Can they trust their repentance?

If your wife thought of another man and repented would you trust her repentance?
If your wife committed once off adultery would you trust her repentance?
If your wife committed adultery twice would you trust her repentance?
If your wife committed adultery more then twice and in fact had an ongoing affair whilst attending church and keeping your ring on her finger, can you ...'''ever''' trust her repentance?

We are humans and can only look at works. God may see the mortal sinner as still having hope, but we can't. We can simply discern that person X committing a sin that God ordained deserving of the death penalty will very likely not at all be in heaven.

Are you implying that every time I sin I lose my salvation? What if (a truly saved person) sins at 5:00, and then at 5:15, before he has thought to repent and ask for forgiveness, he gets hit by a bus and dies? Is he going to hell because for that 15 minutes he chose to sin and rejected Christ?

Haha, no not at all. It is all about depth of intents.

Example. Lets say I used to bully you. Then one day I take a bullet for you. That depth of intent will over ride the many years of bullying. For the rest of your life you will tolerate me annoying and pestering you. But then...one day I rape your sister...and things change...surely.

God knows who are His. OSAS may be true from God's vantage point, but never ours.

Paul urges us to constantly judge ourselves. 'If we think we standing taking heed lest we fall' 1 Cor 10:12.

It is all about us judging our depths of intent. Degrees of sin point to this. Consider James 5:20. How a depth of intent action covers a multitude of sins. ''Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins''.

When we are born again we sink to a depth of intent that God finds acceptable. My two cent point is simply that if we can truly love the Lord, how in the universe can we then commit a sin that angers God so much that he ordain the death penalty as a fitting punishment?

Our relationship with God is based on a real and valid common denominator. We both HATE what is evil. Rom 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

When our heart is after His, He draws us to Him James 4:8.
