Adam in the Garden

One thing Adam failed at was tending to His wife.

Yup because scripture says she turned to adam and handed him the apple. It did not say had to hunt him down so adam was there and was aware of what was going on and that eve was about to blow it big time and adam let her. Nice guy huh? lol

What happens when you do not do what God tells you to do?.

We end up with sin in our blood from birth and evil running ramped in this earth....End up with ground that has been cursed and full of toil. We end up losing the garden and yet God is so merciful has made a way that we can get that back in our lives. ( the eden covenant) I just kept this reply intune with the op and adam and the garden.
Blessings

Hi sister, The Lord God was with Adam and guided him and taught him things just like the Lord does with us today. Adam had "authority" over all the works of God's hands, including fallen Angels. Adam was anointed and he was crowned with Glory. Adam knew what was happening he was not deceived, but Eve was. Adam is the very first recorded "watchmen" in the world. A watchman is a person who is to watch over something and give warning when danger is approaching. Adam's job was to watch over, and protect God's garden from intruders that could cause harm to him and Eve. His family was in jeopardy and he was responsible for it. All husbands are suppose to take on the exact same role as the head of his family. We find another "watchman" in the prophet.Ezekiel....

Eze 33:7 "So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.
Eze 33:8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

Ezekiel was to watch over the nation of Israel and to warn them when danger was approaching. If he did not warn them, and the people he was to warn was killed God would hold him responsible for their blood.
Adam should have warned Eve when she was talking to the serpent, but he kept his mouth shut. The destruction of Adam's family was now upon his own hands. Adam was the watchman that failed to warn his family from the evil that he had failed to keep out of the garden.

Oh duh to me....as Adam was filled with the spirit, and trained by God, then he would have recognized that the serpent was the enemy. Ahhh yes i got it now. Thank You!

When God planted a garden, he placed Adam in the garden to do what? What was Adam's job?
Besides the things already mentioned Adam named the animals.
To the ancient Hebrew a name described character.
Genesis 2:19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
Genesis 2:20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

So Adam named all the animals
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.

The serpent is a wild animal or beast of the field so it's possible that Adam had something to do with it's character.Naming something may be to give it character.

The first hint of problems in the garden was the first thing that was not good.
Which begs the question, why was the man alone?

Very well said, was not God bringing the animals to Adam as means of not only naming them but searching for a help mate for him?
It is interesting that in modern day gardening, snakes are not considered bad, as they eat some of the animals that are harmful to plants.
Deception, and stealth was Satan's main entry way into the garden.

You two stop this silly discussion and if you are going to blame someone for the Serpent, blame God!
Colossians 1:16
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Are you trying to say we are blame God because Lucifer sinned?
That would be the same thing as "blaming" God for us being sinners!

Noooo! I believe I said you should blame God for the Serpent in the Garden:confused::rolleyes::rolleyes:!
Why would God be blamed for the serpent being in the garden? I already know were you trying to go with that statement. No, the Garden of Eden is not the same place as Eden the Garden of God.

Oh well, I see there is no limit to your different way of looking at things, so, unless you come up with another Serpent, then I am referring to Serpent in what ever garden you wish!

Do you have scripture that supports this covenant?

Brother, do you see any of this described in the Book of Genesis? anywhere? Just the name it's self should give a clue that they are no the same place. Garden of God vs Garden of Eden. You are trying to place the serpent in the Garden of Eden at the same time Adam was there when God told him to protect it. You will not find it in scripture. Even if the Garden of Eden, and Eden the Garden of God was the same place, which it is not, God cast out Lucifer from, and destroyed him from the midst of the stones of fire which were in Eden the Garden of God.

Eze 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared.
Eze 28:14 You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.
Eze 28:15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you.
Eze 28:16 In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

The garden WAS in Eden but, Eden, Garden, Garden of Eden, Garden of God are all the same. But what difference at this point does it make? We should be talking prophecy and edifying the church and I have grown weary of your since-less talk! Good Bye!
