Soul Sleep 1 Cor/2 Cor

I came across something interesting today. For a couple years now I've been searching, praying that God would give me an answer about Soul Sleep, whether it's true or false. I think he answered my prayers today. I just wanna double check with you guys though for confirmation.

1 Cor 15:54 - Death is swallowed up in victory / 2 Cor 5:4 - That mortality may be swallowed up in life

I noticed these two scriptures both have "swallowed up" in it, and that 1 Cor 15:52 does give us a timeline. But what really caught my eye is that 2 Cor 5:4 precedes 2 Cor 5:8, in which many people believe 2 Cor 5:8 means we will be with the Lord immediately. But scripture tells me it's the first resurrection. - ATP

At the resurrection the one's that died in Jesus, God will bring with him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14
So when we die or our body dies, then our spirit returns to God. The spirit is what we really are, with a flesh body. Until the resurrection, then we will have a spiritual body ( heavenly body )for our spirit. For we have borne the earthy image , we will also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:49

So what borne the earthly image ( our spirit) what will bear the image of the heavenly ( our spirit )

The body (flesh) is dead without the spirit. James 2:26
So if the spirit doesn't leave our body we could not die. Jesus said Father into thy hands I commend my spirit. Also Stephen calling upon God, said Lord Jesus receive my spirit. Acts 7:59
Ananias and Sapphira gave up the ghost and fell down dead. Acts 5:1-10
So we can see to die , the spirit leaves the body.
So the spirit goes to be with the Lord.
To be absence from the body is to be present with the Lord.
This is how in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 God will bring those who sleep ( dead) in Jesus with him.
He brings the spirit of those who sleep in Jesus.

misunderstood me. I didn't say the
body was with the Lord, but our

and that strange occurrences are because of fallen angels.
Do you believe we roam around as ghosts on this old earth after we die?
Do you have scripture to support all this.

Can you explain exactly how Moses split the sea or got water out of a rock?
Can you explain any of Jesus's miracles?
All you ask is just another of God's miracles, you have to accept it by faith, not by understanding!

Read Acts 5:1-10 verse 5 says Ananias gave up the ghost.
Verse 10 says she (Sapphira ) fell
down and yielded up the ghost.
Ghost is another word for spirit. I believe to be absent from our body is to present with Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8

You have to work it out yourself.
Do you know for sure you are saved; can you remember when it happened and under what circumstances?
Much of your understanding comes from faith and that comes from Christ in you. Is he in you?

That is what norapture and I have been telling you...you might be resting, you might be floating, who knows? What you can know is that you are with the Lord!
