im a pastors step daughter since age 4 and was very strong in my faith up until age 12. instances took place and i began to hate myself and god. now im in high school and god has taken almost everything i care about and i just want to become close with him again but i dont know if i trust him enough to LIVE for him anymore

I will be praying for you. I am sad to see that you had to endure such hardships at a young age. Job also endured hardships and in the end he was blessed for it. Joseph faced many hardships and continued to serve and praise God even when things should seem terrifying and horrible. In the end he was blessed magnificently. I would suggest reading about these two men, even Ruth. You may be able to find encouragement.
Something for you to keep in mind:
In Job's and Joseph's stories there was much out of their direct control, these things were not their fault. They only had control of their perspective and actions.
At the age of twelve, how much more is out of your control? These things are not your fault and God will hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
You say you are lost and I pray that you seek out The Lord.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

i trust him enough to LIVE for him

thought I'd edit your post and re-quote you
leave out the rest
confess the best

He is faithful and true
how about you

if you are like me
you need a plea
and will always find
His peace of mind
and heart
and soul
Spirit is willing
give Him
your whole

Hi answerswanted,

I just wanted you to know that you are being prayed for by myself and many others here at Talk Jesus. You are at a time in your life where you are struggling with alot and being a teenager in this world today isn't an easy thing, but always remember you are God's creation and He loves you more than you can imagine and will always be there for you. He never gives up and is there with His arms open and waiting for you to come to Him just as you are.

God bless you answerswanted and I pray that you do find the answers you seek and that you once again trust God with your whole life and heart.
