....Believes in evolution and believes that homosexuality is not wrong. Women was created for man so that the two of them could join and become one. Many "Christians" in the UK (Where I live), believe in evolution. Some even believe The Old Testament shouldn't be taken literally and is a "image of the truth", if the option came up, should I date these "Christians"? I myself believe Adam and Eve are 100% FACT as is the whole of the Old Testament (I've seen the archaeological evidence for it), for a marriage to work, the two must agree on many of their own beliefs.
Blast the idiots who preach evolution - they are the false prophets Jesus spoke about - misleading Christians and making them doubt scripture. It's like I'm the only true Christian in the UK!
This is beginning to make me believe that these are indeed the end times. Few will be saved. To accept Christ - you MUST BELIEVE every word he says. Just accusing him of lying, is like accusing him of being Satan. Only Satan can lie.
The apostle Paul wrote: "Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness? Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Be´li·al? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever?"(2 Cor 6:14, 15) Thus, to date someone that does not
clearly recognize the Bible as God's word and put it into
application, is going against Paul's inspired counsel.
Just before the Israelites were to enter the land of Canaan in 1473 B.C.E, Moses told them: "When Jehovah your God at last brings you into the land to which you are going so as to take possession of it....you must form no marriage alliance with them. Your daughter you must not give to his son, and his daughter you must not take for your son. For he will turn your son from following me, and they will certainly serve other gods; and Jehovah’s anger will indeed blaze against you, and he will certainly annihilate you in a hurry."(Deut 7:1, 3,4)
Hence, the nation of Israel were particularly warned against forming marriage alliances with the Canaanites. Such alliances would intimately involve them not only with pagan wives but with pagan relatives and their false religious practices and customs, and this would result in apostasy and a snare.
After the death of Sarah, Abraham sought a wife for his son, Isaac. Abraham told his oldest servant. Eliezer: "Put your hand, please, under my thigh, as I must have you swear by Jehovah, the God of the heavens and the God of the earth, that you will
not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Ca´naan·ites in among whom I am dwelling, but you will go to my country and to my relatives, and you will certainly take a wife for my son, for Isaac.”(Gen 24:2-4)
Later, Isaac's son Esau married two women of the land of Canaan. However, Genesis 26:35 says that "they were a source of bitterness of spirit to Isaac and Re·bek´ah". These knew the kind of people that inhabited the land of Canaan. Later, Esau's mother Rebekah, said of his wives: "I have come to abhor this life of mine because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob ever takes a wife from the daughters of Heth like these from the daughters of the land, of what good is life to me?”(Gen 27:46)
For anyone who doubts the authenticity of the Bible, or who believes in evolution, despite calling themselves a "Christian", would cause a division. Jesus gave a sound principle: "Every kingdom divided against itself comes to desolation, and a house [divided] against itself falls."(Luke 11:17) Thus, to build any relationship with anyone who does not
treasure the Bible, and put it's words into
practice, is asking for a ' divided house.'
