What is the Gospel?

indeed,my friend. BTW.... your chinese awesome

true Fasting
Isaiah 58:1-14

ture prayer:Pro 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
1ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 1ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 1ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Act 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Being infinite, God cannot give you anything but Himself, and when you pray for something other than God, you are praying amiss. you are praying like the pagans who began this whole practice of that kind of petitionary prayer thousands of years ago.
Col 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Good stuff my friend.
I admit though that I used a translator program to do the Chinese LOL I'm not that smart yet.

I used Chinese because I didn't want to talk more about the spiritual diarrhea that someone was splattering on us.

RJ That was a good share. Thank you. I liked it a lot.

Yes,Paul was truly a messenger of the Gospel for God. I am thankful that I have learned a lot from him. It also proves to me that no mortal(s) could contrive this own there on. The Law, as noble a standard still today, was meant for one purpose and that was to show us our sin. And, what it could never do,our God devised a plan to completely take our salvation out of our hands through the "Finality Of The Cross" and his free gift of Grace, a truth that many have unfortunately not learned to this day!

When one truly lives under Grace, he can achieve the peace and freedom that Jesus promises.

Here again you make it all about life in the flesh and about earthly things.
Stop earthquakes? You need to show some specific scripture.

I can give you a scientific model about how to stop earthquakes.if you can do it..

Replenish means to fill or refill, complete
subdue means to 'make subservient'
dominion means to 'reign or rule'
multiply means 'to increase' oops lol

Still don't see anything about earthquakes nor the garden of Eden in those scriptures. If this is all you have let me give you some advice.

Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth.

Subdue the Earth. Take and exercise authority over the Earth.. If you can't catch this concept, ask God about it. The garden was a seed of what God wanted in the Earth for us.

God gave me the understanding last year during the summer that I was the only sinless saint since the early fourth century. That's when the Roman government finished killing the last saints after three hundred years of arresting them and having them beheaded.

This has got to be a joke right? Seriously man, put down the crackpipe.

El Hombre viejo;166607]Nope This poor guy has been spitting his spiritual dementia all over the internet.

Check it..

This guy is a character. Even that baby has a look on her face that says, "Get me away from this crackpot."

I shouldn't joke about this kind of stuff but its hard not too when you run into a guy that claims he's the only sinless saint since the 4th century. The elevator definitely does not go all the way up. I still can't believe just how much personal data and pictures people put up on the internet of themselves.

I couldn't help but laugh as I looked at a post on his My Space page and a woman asks him in Spanish, of all people, if he thought the world was ending on Dec. 21 , 2012. LOL

Well....

Well this man is seriously deceived but he is still loved by God. As God's children we should be praying for him.

Though I admit the baby does look to be saying "Be afraid. Be very afraid! I am."

Well Jigger I'd rather let Jesus fill my thoughts. And He does but that does not mean that I/we should simply let things on this Earth mow us under. If we're in charge here as the Word says and do nothing, how will we explain it to God when we get home? We have doing to do here and we'd better get on the stick.

That's an even better line from the baby. LOL. Ok that's my last laugh about this matter since you're right this chap does need some prayer.

OKAY three floks is enough.

We disagree about who is "in charge" here on earth. I believe God is in charge.

I understand where you are coming from Jigger but its just that belief that makes Christians sit on their hands while Satan and the world grind them to pudding. That is not being a 'warrior' a 'soldier' Its being cannon fodder. We are to Be soldiers. We are to be kicking devil butt. Not getting killed in lack of action by sickness, poverty, and every other thing Satan chooses to throw at us.

Well, I'll keep kicking butt and let the pacifist Christians try to reason things away. I'll swing the Word at every situation that does not line up with Gods Word.

Christianity is not a theoretical thing. Its all action.

Who is in charge?

Who did Jesus give the keys to? Who did Jesus put in charge?

Matthew 16:19 (Amplified Bible)

19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth <sup class="footnote" value="[<a href=&quot;#fen-AMP-23692a&quot; title=&quot;See footnote a&quot;>a</a>]">[a]must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth <sup class="footnote" value="[<a href=&quot;#fen-AMP-23692b&quot; title=&quot;See footnote b&quot;>b</a>]">[b]must be what is already loosed in heaven.<sup class="xref" value="(<a href=&quot;#cen-AMP-23692A&quot; title=&quot;See cross-reference A&quot;>A</a>)">(A)

When you got the keys you call the shots. Keys indicate reign.
So if you want to pass the keys to Satan, you go ahead. I won't!

Brother it took me so many years to see the revelation in those scriptures and when I did it changed my life forever. I agree. The power to change circumstances for the better and for the worse are right in our mouth. You're right we do reign on earth and so many Christians act like we are powerless and have to be doormats. Man everything God tells us to do in the Bible works when you see the revelation and faith grows. Whether its speaking to your problem, whether its tithing, whether its Communion, whether its using anointng oil, etc. Our words are powerful and many of us don't realize that. The things of God are just incredibly powerful when you put faith behind them. But too many are just so impatient and give up on God's Word way too easily and just talk about how things are going to be in the afterlife. Not me. I'm all about showing people how powerful the Lord's Word is to overcome everything in this life! But hey faith is what seperates the men from the boys. Some believers want to be drinking milk from a bottle their whole lives. Not me. Bring me the hard food Lord, I'm not into wearing diapers anymore. Praise the name of Jesus!

With all due respect:

I think it is best to be a positive thinker like you than not and, I believe that all things are possible through Jesus Christ. But, these verses deal with Peter , as far as I understand, are not meant for the individual but the Church and not the same meaning as you use it, which I do like yours and is admirable!

Matthew 16
Verse 19 Keys are a sign of authority. Jesus said, ‘I am alive. I was dead, but now I am alive again. And I hold the keys to death and Hades’ (Revelation 1:18). In Isaiah’s time, Eliakim was a servant who had a responsible job. He had to open and shut the door (Isaiah 22:22). Peter was like that servant. He ‘opened the door’ to God for thousands of people. They became part of God’s stones in his building. Every Christian has the same duty. He or she must show people the way to God. Peter guided the *church. He taught Christians how to behave in the right way. This was an honour and a responsibility. Peter shared this authority with other members of the *church (Matthew 18:18).

Again, this is not meant to be a sign of authority over the earth but rather Jesus's teachings to the Church and how there actions are approved by God.

Matthew 18
Verse 18 The decision of the local group should agree with what Jesus taught. Then God will approve of their action.

With all due respect... Peter did not lead the church...He was an evangelist as were the others. No more. He had trouble with favoritism and fear of man..etc but he was not leading the church. The Holy Spirit was doing that.

The verse was not about Peter at all. Well no more than anyone else.

In fact RJ Matt 18 says nothing at all about Peter.

1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
