Of course most people would give a modern atonement definition of salvation, however first century atonement models differ to what we have today. Thus the definition is lacking.

In very basic Pauline terms it has all to do with Jesus that brings about New Creation. There's a whole adamic christology lost in there somewhere, and there is no singular defined model of salvation that can be applied (although I do like recapitulation and salvation history myself)

But no I wouldn't say Genesis is related to the Gospel. That would be because as a christocentric Genesis has to be read in counterpoint to Jesus missionary statement itself, not the other way round.

Ya! It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. And we are in Him. We dwell in all fullness! So the good news that includes salvation is the blessing.

All fullness means All of our needs met. All of our wants met. We have dominion over the Earth and all that is in it. The blessing is for us to turn the Earth into the Eden that God placed Adam. We have authority over all the creatures of the Earth, and the plants, and the planet itself. Mother nature? LOL Yeah we can command the planet itself. Stop earthquakes, tornadoes, floods and volcanoes, tsunami too. That authority was given to us in the very first words God ever spoke to man. The Blessing.

And we dwell in HIS fullness!! Yippee!!
