Not so fast, :disagree: Have we established how it lines up? Like I said, it sounds fine and encouraging but, other than just thinking it sounds good, have we put it to the test? I'd be interested in hearing how you think it lines up. Several who have posted here have said it does, I'd like to know scripturally why you think that.
I'm absolutely serious about your thoughts. When teaching a scripture lesson or a concept, it is imperative the resource material be cited. I have made reference to a number of situations in the Bible relating to this thread and have offered specific scripture to support what I have written. Please, please, please, take the time to support your belief. Without support your belief becomes opinion. I am trying to get you to do more than render an opinion.
In the times to come, we will be called upon to do far more at much greater cost than we do now. We must know what we are doing and be absolutely sure of its authenticity. Now is the time to learn and test these concepts before they become more of a matter of life and death to those who are lost.
El Hombre viejo, are you a lurker or an opinion maker; a good ole boy with something to say about everything or are you a teacher of the gospel? Come with me, old man, there's a lot more to teach about!
In his service,
just-a-servant
There shall be a latter rain of my Glory that shall pour forth upon my people. My people shall be strong and do exploits, all those that will yield themselves to me shall be covered with a strong anointing that is from me and they shall hear my voice saying “this is the way , walk ye in it.”
Joel 2:27-29 (King James Version)
27And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Acts 2:16-18 (King James Version)
16But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Mark 16:16-18 (King James Version)
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Isaiah 30:20-22 (King James Version)
20And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
22Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence
Psalm 119:104-106 (King James Version)
104Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

Listen to my voice and do not deviate from my words. Hearken unto me and do not follow the ways of the world, the corruption of this world; for certainly my judgment shall come upon it with great speed and all those that refuse to repent, refuse to keep their garments clean, their raiment white, shall be devoured, consumed, and eaten up by my judgment. I the Lord of host am a great judge. Shall I not recompense evil and pour my judgment forth for the iniquity? Shall I not judge the people?
Zephaniah 1:14-18
The Great Day of the Lord
14 "The great day of the LORD is near—
near and coming quickly.
Listen! The cry on the day of the LORD will be bitter,
the shouting of the warrior there.
15 That day will be a day of wrath,
a day of distress and anguish,
a day of trouble and ruin,
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness,
16 a day of trumpet and battle cry
against the fortified cities
and against the corner towers.
17 I will bring distress on the people
and they will walk like blind men,
because they have sinned against the LORD.
Their blood will be poured out like dust
and their entrails like filth.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold
will be able to save them
on the day of the LORD's wrath.
In the fire of his jealousy
the whole world will be consumed,
for he will make a sudden end
of all who live in the earth."
Romans 2:5
5But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
Hebrews 3:12-14 (Amplified Bible)
12[Therefore beware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God.
13But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delusive glamor of his sin may play on him].
14For we [a]have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first newborn confidence and original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm and unshaken to the end.
Ezekiel 39:21
And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Thus saith the Lord, let this be a season where you have you eyes focused on me, having listening ears, and a heart prepared to serve me, a mind willing to work, a heart of obedience. The Lord of Host is merciful and shall deliver his people in the days of trouble that are about to come upon the earth. Let the Lord reign in your hearts and let your hearts be pure before me. Let all double mindedness cease and let the whole heart turn to the Lord who is abundant in mercy and whose promises are sure, whose word is steadfast and enduring.
Matthew 11:29-30 (King James Version)
29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 12:14-16 (King James Version)
14Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Proverbs 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Job 22:26-28 (King James Version)
26For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
27Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Isaiah 30:19
For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
