Your Heart, a Battlefield

Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
— Ephesians 6:11


I am sure the greatest day in your life was the day you put your faith in Jesus Christ. And as we grow in our faith and knowledge of what God actually did for us, we become more aware of how significant that day really was. That was the day when we literally had our eternal address changed from a place called hell to a place called heaven. That was the day when we turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. That was the day when, according to Jesus, there was a party in heaven given in our honor—a victory shout, if you will, from the angels and from those who have gone before us.

But it was also the day when a very real spiritual battle began. In fact, it has been said that conversion has made our hearts a battlefield. Just as surely as there is a God who loves you, there is also a devil who hates you—a devil who wants to stop the work God is doing in your life.

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus talked about the seed that fell on the roadside and was eaten by the birds. He said, "Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts" (Matthew 13:19). It is called an attack, and you had better get ready for it.

If you want to be a spiritual pacifist, then you are going down. You will have to toughen up and put on the armor of God, because in this spiritual battle, you are either advancing or retreating. You are either winning or losing. So you must fight to win. And it is a battle that can be won—if you march with Christ.

The heart is our spirit!It is not a battle field!
The spirit is in the LORD . it has no sin and cannot sin! sin does not touch it!
the battle field is our flesh minds! Its where we fight the battle! we get thoughts from our LORD there and thoughts from demons and even the desires of our flesh are there!

The flesh mind has lots of junk in it! Everything we watch on T.V. or read and hear! Goes into the mind ! Our minds records it all!
We have to protect our minds the best we can and try our best not to let it record all these evil things!

the mind is our flesh parts control center!

All our problems in life is in our flesh mind!
When our bodies die? The flesh mind also dies ! All those evil thoughts are gone
The Spirit born of God has a pure perfect mind and no evil enters it!
Everything we did in life out of LOVE , goes with the spirits mind , that is why we remember our Dads and Moms !
that is why , all our tears are gone. Nothing in that mind to be sad about!
We are so happy to be free of the flesh and the evil !
But , GOD wants us here to live though and bless others and reveal the good news !
The problem with each us of is! the flesh mind has the spirit and its mind in some subjection! the outward mind is in control at least to some degree over our spirit!
So the less we walk and live though our Spirit? The less we will appear CHRIST LIKE!
The more we live though our Spirit ? The more we will reveal the LORD!
The spirit born of God is the image of our LORD!
'It has the first fruits of His Spirit , His type mind and nature!
The eternal laws are written in our new spirit .Which is LOVE and Faith!
Love is the Most powerful force ever! Love gives us the correct reason for everything we ever do!

He told us to FAST , Because fasting causes us to live More though our Spirit, So we can Hear Him Much better and live in our Spirit more and walk then in His Holy Spirit and Power!
Then we see the signs and wonders in our lives and others we will touch!
He wants to live though us!


1Co 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
This is saying? Our spirit is under subjection to our flesh minds
that is why He tells us our minds must be renewed . Changed in its thinking! The flesh mind must be taught GODS LIVING WORDS are the Words we must live by!


The spirits mind born of God is the same mind JESUS CHRIST had when born into the flesh! it needs the living words of the bible to grow and mature to be like our LORD!



Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.


1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

JESUS is our pattern in our spirit as well as how we are to live our lives on earth! The Power He walked in is the POWER He wants each Holy child of God to walk in , being taught as He was By the Spirit of Truth!

Act 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit

1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Jn 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit,

WE have everything we will ever need in our Spirit!
God puts all spiritual things [Heavenly things] in each of HIS heavenly holy children at SALVATION! We lack nothing!
He has Already declared each child More than conquerors and it can never be changed!
None are more or less in HIS body !All under just one HEAD .
We all need each other to form that one body!
Those that are still babies . Need a little more love and mercy than those who have matured in the LORD!
We are All growing in truth and the correct understanding! None of us can stand alone!
We are All important and have something the other parts do not have!
The Body cannot exist without the other parts!
Each is special in its own way!
All needed!
Any question if I can ? I will answer them!
I too am still growing!
In fact just yesterday God gave me a revelation about Faith and Love ! I been preaching that for years. Yet did not have full understanding of it!

Only two laws God puts in us , are Faith and LOVE!
He said He writes His laws in our heart[Spirit] . But until yesterday I never thought about it! But those are the Only two laws in scripture .HE ever put in us!

These three scriptures are All about our flesh mind!

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

the outward mind must be retrained!

The Spirits mind has no problems!

1Pe 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

2Co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

old man is our old spirit!
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

He is gone forever ! But we still have his old dumb thoughts in our minds! Our Flesh minds!
Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Col 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

We need the Spirit of truth , to reveal to us , when the scriptures are talking about our flesh or spirit or his spirit . the natural thinking will not get it?
It takes spiritual discerning !
