Yesterday's and Today's Truth

- August 06, 2005

Did you know that the Bible says all men are born with the truth of God inside them?

"For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God." Romans 1: 19-20

Unfortunately, many people reject God and instead seek truth in silly things such as fortune telling, crystal balls, Oujia boards, and other occult mediums that serve to further confuse one from God's aewsome truth, pushing them farther away from wisdom rather than closer to it.

"And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead." Romans 1: 21-22

There are also people who, rather than worship the Creator, worship the creation, making such things as the sun, moon, stars, trees and animals into their "gods".

"And instead of worshipping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshipped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes." Romans 1:23

Surprisingly, the Bible verses above refer to a time long, long ago; yet how strange that man has not learned from the lessons of the past, or progressed to a place of better understanding. Many of us are still groping around in the dark; spiritually deaf, dumb and blind.

My dear friends, just as a caring earthly father would not send his youngsters out of the house unprepared, so too does God, our heavenly Father love us even more, and thus, has provided us a way to know Him better so that we can commune with Him in the way we should. While we can learn much from reading the Bible, the first place to start is by calling out to Him, and inviting God into our hearts and lives. And, just as you would not invite one of your relatives to stay in a dirty house, likewise, God cannot reside in a heart full of putrid sin.

Today is the day to reach for wisdom; to let go of the rotting effects of sin, and bring in the goodness and purity of God's merciful love.

Even us ,Who know the LORd ,do not obey ,nor seek the things the HOLY SPIRIT DESIRES to give,Which are many ,All spiritual ,ALL from the HOLY GHOST .Yet we call ourselves HIS kids.We should be 1st seeking all HE wants us too have ? That should be one of our main goals in life? You understand? That a dad wants to teach and give his childern all good things! How much MORE does OUR FATHER want us to receive? We need these things ,Why ?To be like our LORD JESUS CHRIST ,Too be able too do the things HE did .
You believe this?

1Jo 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

AS HE is in NEW JERUSALEM ?
WE ARE NOW!
You accept this as TRUTH ?
Then if we are not seeing miracles in our lifes and others ?Then we are the problem ?Yes or no?
