Yah's way or our way III

Did you know that someone somewhere will die of starvation or thirst this night? Statistics claim 1 billion people will not have eaten this day. 8 million children in America will go to bed hungry.

Now we can feel grateful and proud that as followers of Jesus, our small donations, free will offerings, and tithes, feed about a million meals a day around the world, and obviously we cannot feed all of the hungry, but our continued efforts are essential. We who are actually born from above feed all those meals, and provide water to drink, medical supplies, carre and assistance, schooling, and much more, all over the world, each day, and we do it without a single Government's tax dollars. The Lord truly is good all the time, but He has chosen not do it without us. We are His body and He is our head.

Feeding the hungry is another topic that is revealed to be the heart and will of God all throughout the Scriptures. James tells us that it is fine to say be warm and be filled but that if we do not also offer them assistance what good is it? Praying or saying be full is one thing, but then give them some bread.

It is so serious as far as God is concerned that Jesus tells os that even if our enemy is hungry we should feed them, and if thirsty, give them to drink, for it will pile hot coals on their head. When a single mom gets free food for her baby, are you resentful? Angry? Rejoice, I say rejoice, for the Kingdom of Christ is at hand. But what of those that claim the name who resent feeding the hungry or giving away food to the poor? Are they really followers of Jesus? Is the spirit in them urged by the Holy Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9)? Jesus will commend those who fed the hungry at the judgment. Do such works save? God forbid! But the saved so these works.

Did you realize that many alleged to be of the Church (in the Bridal Chamber awaiting His return) are NOT saved, as Matthew 25:1-13 reveals? The door of salvation will be shut in their face, as they are not of Him. YES, family, they are Tares among the Wheat (You shall know them by their fruit). Remember the group that came to Him and said “Lord, Lord, did we not” do thus and so in your name, and He turned to them and said “I never knew you!” How can we know if we are saved? Do we believe God (not just in God)? Do we adhere to His way or our own way (Genesis 3:5). Feed the hungry, for when you do you are feeding the Lord (whether they know Him or not). Let us examine ourselves,
