Worship.....

As I was reading the word last night an interesting verse popped out to me. Math 15: 25Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. Wow she worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. King David always fascinated me because even though he was a mighty, powerful, and rich king he always considered himself a poor and needy man. He consistantly asked God for help, and he was considered by God a man after His own heart. Sometimes the enemy would make me feel like a bum for always asking God for help, and now I know he is a liar because God considers that a form of worship. Now I see the light, when we bow before the King of kings and ask Him for help we are showing that we trust Him to help us, and it is worship and respect. I am purposed to never again allow the enemy to cause me to feel ashamed for asking help thereby worshipping the Lord.
Math 15: 25Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
psalms40:17But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
psalms42:5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
psalms72:12For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
psalms79:9Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

For I am an I witness, too, that going to HIM for help, HE has come to my rescue many times. Sometimes, from just calling out to HIS name {Jehovah} & every other time, through prayer, through Christ Jesus. And here are some Scriptures to help back up what you said:

Psalms 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Matthew 11:28-30
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Psalms 91:15
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

Isaiah 41:10
10. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Isaiah 58:9
Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Matthew 6:11
6. Then give him this message, `Blessed are those who don't doubt me.'''
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Joel 2:32
32. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.
A Prayer, A cry for GOD'S help!

Psalms 69:2-37
2. Save me, God, for the waters have reached my neck.
3. I have sunk into the mire of the deep, where there is no foothold. I have gone down to the watery depths; the flood overwhelms me.
4. I am weary with crying out; my throat is parched. My eyes have failed, looking for my God.
5. More numerous than the hairs of my head are those who hate me without cause. Too many for my strength are my treacherous enemies. Must I now restore what I did not steal?
6. God, you know my folly; my faults are not hidden from you.
7. Let those who wait for you, LORD of hosts, not be shamed through me. Let those who seek you, God of Israel, not be disgraced through me
8. For your sake I bear insult, shame covers my face.
9. I have become an outcast to my kin, a stranger to my mother's children.
10. Because zeal for your house consumes me, I am scorned by those who scorn you.
11. I have wept and fasted, but this led only to scorn.
12. I clothed myself in sackcloth; I became a byword for them.
13. They who sit at the gate gossip about me; drunkards make me the butt of their songs.
14. But I pray to you, LORD, for the time of your favor. God, in your great kindness answer me with your constant help.
15. Rescue me from the mire; do not let me sink. Rescue me from my enemies and from the watery depths.
16. Do not let the floodwaters overwhelm me, nor the deep swallow me, nor the mouth of the pit close over me.
17. Answer me, LORD, in your generous love; in your great mercy turn to me.
18. Do not hide your face from your servant; in my distress hasten to answer me.
19. Come and ransom my life; because of my enemies redeem me.
20. You know my reproach, my shame, my disgrace; before you stand all my foes.
21. Insult has broken my heart, and I am weak; I looked for compassion, but there was none, for comforters, but found none.
22. Instead they put gall in my food; for my thirst they gave me vinegar.
23. Make their own table a snare for them, a trap for their friends.
24. Make their eyes so dim they cannot see; keep their backs ever feeble.
25. Pour out your wrath upon them; let the fury of your anger overtake them.
26. Make their camp desolate, with none to dwell in their tents.
27. For they pursued the one you struck, added to the pain of the one you wounded.
28. Add that to their crimes; let them not attain to your reward.
29. Strike them from the book of the living; do not count them among the just!
30. But I am afflicted and in pain; let your saving help protect me, God,
31. That I may praise God's name in song and glorify it with thanksgiving.
32. My song will please the LORD more than oxen, more than bullocks with horns and hooves:
33. `See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, take heart!
34. For the LORD hears the poor, does not spurn those in bondage.
35. Let the heavens and the earth sing praise, the seas and whatever moves in them!'
36. God will rescue Zion, rebuild the cities of Judah. God's servants shall dwell in the land and possess it;
37. it shall be the heritage of their descendants; those who love God's name shall dwell there.

there is so many forms of worship, through music, dance, and prayer. I have studied worship for a long time and it seems you never stop learning about it. Worship is a dirit connection into the spiritual realm. I believe you show worship to the Lord by just going out of your way to helping someone in need.
one of then things I learned about worship was its a mindset of one. another words it puts you in such a place where nothing else around you even affects you. as if you were standing right there before God and him ministering to you. you seem to forget all the situations that surround you and totally focus on him and his word. I have my special time with the Lord in the early mornings and late evenings. i go to a quiet place which keep in mind I am a mom of five small ones so its kinda of a task lol. I find my self outside in his creation. there is one of the greatest places to me for worship and recieving his word.
during praise and worship I reach that same place. I close my eyes and raise my hands and softly speak to him. I want to know everything about him and all he has to reveal to me I want to recieve it.
I have been walking with the Lord for 11 yrs now and I still have so much more too learn. I look forward to every moment of then walk too. well just my imput on it May the Lord bless you in all you do
