The right choice!
'... I have come that they may have life ... to the full.' John 10:10
When Jesus says, 'I have come that they may have life ... to the full', He isn't talking about taking us on holiday to Disneyworld, isn't offering us a swanky pad, a faster car, the latest gadgets, fashion frenzy and a bank account that never runs dry. He isn't even offering a life free from pain or grief. He's inviting us into life as it was meant to be lived, with Him.
Life with Jesus is like the difference between watching the latest movie on a black and white 4 inch screen TV or on the cinema screen with surround sound.
It's the difference between being robbed and being given a shed-load of the best presents ever! Jesus said, '"The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full."'
It's the difference between losing your life and gaining your life. John 3:16 says, 'For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.' Because of Jesus we can live forever. We don't have to fear anything. We can go to Heaven and get the best out of life now. Have you made the right choice for your life?
