'Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.' 2 TIMOTHY 1:6
There are two kinds of life you need to avoid:
1) life with a low flame. Don't become like Eddie who's Nana liked opera. On Eddie's eighth birthday she took him to the Opera which was sung in German. The very next day he wrote a note to his Nana: 'Dear Nana, thank you for the birthday present. It's what I always wanted, but not very much. Love from Eddie.' You have to admire the honesty!
There's an old saying: 'Find something you love doing so much that you would do it for nothing and when you learn to do it really well, people will actually like pay you to do it.
2) life with no flame. Some people say they've had enough. The truth is that most of them never had the right kinda energy in the first place.
Author dude Norman Cousins said, 'Death isn't the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we're still alive.' So if you're not careful you could end up like the dude whose grave stone said, 'Died at 30, Buried at 60.' Don't let that happen to you.
When you find your God-given talent, you find your passion. Will you have to keep finding the energy? Yes you will, quite often! But it will rev you up and carry you to where you want to be.
