Taking responsibility (3)
'Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful.' 1 CORINTHIANS 4:2
If you want to be successful you have to take responsibility. Most people have big dreams of great things they'd like to achieve but sadly lots of people won't come close to achieving their dreams. Whether your dream is to run or own a business, become a doctor or lawyer, write great music, go into outer space or do one of another million great things, to achieve it you must take responsibility for your own life.
Everyone has dreams; some people even have a plan to make their dreams happen. But unless you put the plan into action, your dreams will stay just that; dreams! You can think about them, write about them and even talk about them with everyone you meet, but if you're dream is to be a famous author, you better get writing! If you want to be an athlete, you better get training. Your dreams won't just happen when you reach a certain age. If you want to be at a certain place by the time you are 25, you had better start down that path now.
Get some focus, be disciplined and understand the need to take responsibility. If you keep God right at the centre of all you want to do and don't get distracted with other things along the way then your dreams can become a reality. Why not ask God today to help you as you take responsibility for your future?
