God moments
'they...went through the towns, preaching' LUKE 9:6
Every moment matters. A long time ago, a guy was walking to church, and saw four lads hanging around. He had a choice; talk to them, or ignore them. He chose to invite them to church with him; and they said yes! They even went the next week too, and then regularly came to the Sunday school he taught at.
Years later, the guy discovered what had become of the lads: one had become a missionary in China; one ran a bank; one the private secretary to the president of the USA; and the fourth, was the president of the USA! That moment, at the time, didn't seem important to that guy walking to church; but it had a huge impact on those four lads.
Sometimes, God will use you in something that seems small to you, but could make a huge difference to others. And remember; Jesus didn't set up a throne in town and say 'I'm here, come and see me if you want to' did he? No! He went out, to marketplaces, fishermen's boats, people's homes, the streets; He met people where they were. 'They... went through the towns, preaching'.
So when you're out and about, and something happens when you're busy, or on your way somewhere, just think; could it be a God moment? Grab the opportunity, and be part of God's plan; that small thing you do could have results you'd never dreamed of!
