'BUT YOU WANT COMPLETE HONESTY' PSALM 51:6
Panicked prayer as a last resort isn't how we're meant to communicate with God. Prayer is your day to day conversation with Jesus, but that said, nothing can fuel prayer like real need. In a crisis, even people who publicly say they don't believe in God, pray secretly. Praying admits that there are certain things we can't fix on our own. Listen: 'When I was in deep trouble, I searched for the Lord. All night long I prayed with hands lifted towards heaven' (Psalm 77:2 NLT).
God isn't interested in nice prayers said for show or because it's what we think it's what we ought to pray. God is moved by the cry of our hearts. So don't try to pull the wool over God's eyes. He knows how you really feel so what's the point in pretending. You'll find that you'll start to see results when you pray the minute you get honest with God.

What tasty fruit does honesty produce in your life? Well for starters, trustworthiness and freedom to name a few. It also gets rid of the hold that fear can have in your heart. If you've nothing to hide then you've nothing to fear! How exciting is that! Why don't you talk to Him today; don't be afraid. He loves you and He's listening!
