Get changed!
'you have taken off your old self...and have put on the new self' COLOSSIANS 3:9-10
Have you ever spent ages getting ready in the morning; slapping on that makeup, or spiking up your hair? Making sure you look the best you can, so you can impress that guy or girl that you fancy? I bet you wouldn't dream of letting them see you not looking your best; so why should it be any different with God? Don't settle for letting Him see you looking second best. Look in the mirror at the reflection of your heart and your mind and see what God sees.
Ask yourself, are your attitudes and behaviours what you want God to be seeing? If not, then you need to think about changing them. How? By taking off the old, chucking it away, and putting on the new. Your focus each day must be to 'Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature' (Romans 13:14 NIV).
It's your choice, and only you can make that change. He's not going to force you to. The devil aint gonna like you making that change, and he's gonna do what he can to stop you; so expect it to be tough, but stick with it. That's why you need to get on your knees and ask God to help you keep off those old 'clothes', and stick with the new.
