Copy cat!
'Children...learn...from their parents.' EPHESIANS 5:1
If you've got a little brother or sister, or have ever seen a child grow up, you'll know how true it is to say that children learn from their parentsl from the little things like how they speak (do they say bath so it rhymes with naff or hearth?!) to the bigger things like a work ethic, opinions on money and how they treat people.
You may even have had your great aunt Betty say to you 'ooh, you are like your mum when you do that'! We learn from our parents; but not just them. As you've got a bit older, and developed your own friendships, you may have realised that you pick up habits or phrases from your mates too. The more time you spend with someone, the more you become like them. If we see God as our heavenly Father, and spend time with Him, then it follows that we should become like Him too; which is what we should want.
Check out how the Street Bible phrases Ephesians 5:1: 'Copy God: imitate him; mimic his mannerisms like kids end up walking and talking like their old man. Love people like the Liberator loved you...And the whiff of it all will float up to heaven where God will inhale and be moved to tears.' Study Jesus, spend time with God, and let that be what influences who you become.
