Believe God for great things!
'with God all things are possible.' MATTHEW 19:26
Jesus said, 'With God all things are possible.' Do you really believe that? Listen, even humans can do the 'impossible', here are three examples:
1) German scientists predicted that trains travelling at 25 mph would cause severe nose bleeds and the passengers would suffocate going through tunnels. Their American colleagues added that we'd need more mental institutions because people would go mad when they saw the first trains
2) when the YWCA first announced typing classes for women, there was a furious backlash on the grounds that the 'female constitution would deteriorate under such strain'
3) shipping experts insisted that iron boats would never float, and that even if they did all that metal would wreak havoc with the compass readings so they'd get lost anyway! So if humans can do the 'impossible' how much more can the God of the universe achieve?!
Sadly too many of us are conned into believing for too little than believing for too much. Faith in God isn't something we frame on the wall like a swimming certificate; it lives inside our life. So next time you're faced with an impossibility remember it's not about what you can do, but what God can do through you when you're fully trusting in Him.
God wants to take you outside the realm of the predictable, the safe, and the expected. So make a promise today to refuse to let the word 'impossible' stop you.
