Another chance
'WHERE CAN I RUN FROM YOU.' PSALM 139:5
A story is told of a London bus driver was had to drive people to the massive mission events at Wembley Stadium where evangelist Billy Graham would be preaching. When one of them invited him in to listen he said 'No thanks'. The following year he moved to New York and guess what, Billy was preaching at Madison Square Garden this time and the bus driver was once again doing the shuttle run. As he helped people off the bus, a lady asked if he'd like to join them. Once more he politely declined.
Later, the bus driver married an Australian lady and eventually ended up working in Sydney where, once again he was assigned to drive people to a stadium where Billy was preaching. This time when he was invited he figured there was no escape, so he gave in. Looking back he says, 'No matter where I went I was confronted with Billy Graham, so I went to hear him and committed my life to Christ. It was the best decision I ever made.'
David's great Psalm says, 'Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run from you?' (Psalm 139:7 NCV). Isn't God amazing? He'll follow you round the world to give you another chance to find your life in Him. How many chances has He already given you? Say yes to him today.
