Where are you going?
'You have been wandering around ... long enough; turn' Deuteronomy 2:3
Choices, choices, choices - they're all around you. Whether it's options, uni, job, church mates, what to do, where to go ... the list sometimes seems endless, doesn't it?
Do you ever feel like you're walking round in circles with all the choices, with no idea which way to turn to make sure you end up in the right place? And you know that it matters too - some of these choices are life-changers, and you don't want to end up doing the wrong thing, or in the wrong place.
You're not alone - Israel had the same problem in the Old Testament, wandering about in the desert, not knowing where to go next. God stepped in and told them what to do (read the whole story in Deuteronomy). Some of the stuff he told them to do probably seemed a bit scary or crazy to them - but what God said, happened. He'll do the same for you too, if you ask Him.
The question is, will you trust Him enough to turn around and go wherever He says, making the choice He tells you, even if it seems a bit scary or not the most logical option? It's worth it if you do - because that's when you'll end up where God wants you - and when you're in the place He wants, that's when He'll use you best to do His work through you. Walk His path - it's so worth it.
