Servant-hearted (3)
'The leader should be like a servant' Luke 22:26
When a guy calls a girl a 'dog' he usually means that facially she resembles his pedigree chum. When a girl calls a guy a 'dog' she usually means his breath is comparable to a pooch that's just used its tongue for a toilet. So you might not respond too well to me telling you to be like a dog. But... before you clout us with your handbag, stop and think about the beauty of a Guide Dog.
Those loyal Labs are trained for one sole purpose: to serve their master. It's not as if Labs haven't anything better to do - they're happy enough lazing next to a sleepy fire or chasing a Frisbee in the park or chewing the stuffing out of a sofa. But a Lab trained to serve the sightless, puts all that aside, to become alert at a traffic light or to lead a safe path in the supermarket. Guide Dogs have been trained well to know their noble purpose - service.
You are trained for one sole purpose: to serve the master. Most world leaders are served by the poor; but our Bible tells us to flip this 360; the poor are to be served by us. 'Mercy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full' (Prov. 19:17 TM). Becoming great starts with the status of a dog - loyal to his master.
