Energy
'With God nothing will be impossible' Luke 1:37
'I don't like Mondays ... I wanna shoo-oo-oo-oot the whole day down' sang The Boomtown Rats in their classic hit. Do you ever feel like that at the beginning of a week? Have you even made up your own version that goes 'I don't like Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or, for that matter, the rest of the week?
Life can sometimes seem too hard and too much, leaving us feeling too weak and empty to do anything about it. But when we live our lives with God, He changes all that.
In John 10:10; Jesus said, '...My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life' (NLT). And 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, 'if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!' (NIV). And, because of this, Philippians 2:13 tells us, we no longer have to live life broken and disjointedly - we can be living it large, full of energy, because, '...That energy is God's energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working...' (TM).
Don't let your background, your preconceived ideas, your present difficulties, your past failures, your self-doubt, the opinions of others, or that dreaded Monday morning feeling, keep you from becoming all that God wants you to be. The Bible says 'With God nothing will be impossible.' This isn't just a nice sentiment, it's the absolute truth. So take a hold of that God-energy, and make the choice to have a happier Monday.
