I would like to ask for prayer and also to glorify God for the work He is doing in my marriage.
My wife and I have been married for just over two years, and have been separated for eight months of that. I wasn't the man of God I should have been. I had an unforgiving spirit and didn't show her the love she needed. When she left it was an awakening that unfortunately I needed.
Her current situation is not the best though it may be better than it appears. I'd prefer not to go into any details.
So, I'd like everyone to agree with me in prayer that God's will is done in our lives, that He gives us the strength to resist temptation to be unfaithful or selfish, and that our hope and faith in Him only grow. Personally, I've been discouraged and tempted to despair over the last few months and I need prayer for the strength to carry on.
I praise God that this situation has caused me to seek Him earnestly and fervently like I never have before. I'd also like to praise God for opening up her heart as she and I had lunch on Tuesday and have plans for an activity tomorrow. Her severe allergies prevented her from that activity today.
Scripture is always helpful of course.
Thank you and God bless,
Jared
