Why is it?

How can one claim to follow the Lord yet blankly say that what is written isnt what the Lord wants for His children to do?..

I get some things may be hard for a person to do .. but i believe if one flat out refuses to acknowledge what the Lord says because man has been taught different that it just man.. ourselves that stand in the way of the Truth..

Perhaps tis me..but perhaps just perhaps it tis you that refuse to work on yourself..

For many says it is not time to build the house of the Lord.... perhaps many fail to realize that the Lords House is made us of Living bricks and they themselves dont see themselves as one.. perhaps they believe they are something more then the next.. perhaps they believe they are others saviors and have forgotten they they couldn't save themselves..

Yet it is time it is time for the House of the Lord to be built and one will he render useless if ones house itself is not in order..

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Well this is the reason why

2 Timothy 4: 2 - 4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

That time has been here for a long time now, so now we believe bunny lay eggs and reindeers can fly and some fat guy going to go down your chimney and give your kids gift. Not to mention apparently Jesus was born on the 25th December and he told the whole world to celebrate his birthday. All of these are fables and that's what people want to hear.
