  2. Glad to pray for you. I know a lot of people who tend to get a bunch of bad news close together. Not sure why.

  3. Welcome to Talk Jesus @Chantele

    Don't know any of the particulars of your relationship with your brother, or God for that matter, but my heart and prayers go out to you, and heavenward. That you might find the peace, comfort, and answers that you seek.

    Once again welcome. Were it under better circumstances, but either way welcome to Talk Jesus.
    With the Love of Christ Jesus.

    The Lord knows....commit all to Him

    O soul, are you weary and troubled?
    No light in the. darkness you see?
    There’s light for a look at the Saviour,
    And life more abundant and free.

    Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
    Look full in His wonderful face,
    And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
    In the light of His glory and grace.

    Through death into life everlasting
    He passed, and we follow Him there;
    O’er us sin no more hath dominion
    For more than conqu’rors we are!

    His Word shall not fail you, He promised;
    Believe Him and all will be well;
    Then go to a world that is dying,
    His perfect salvation to tell!*

    In reading this today. You were brought to mind.

    He Giveth More Grace

    He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
    He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
    To added affliction He addeth His mercy;
    To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

    When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
    When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
    When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
    Our Father's full giving is only begun.

    Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
    Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
    Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
    The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.

    His love has no limit; His grace has no measure.
    His pow'r has no boundary known unto men;
    For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
    He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!

    Annie Johnson Flint

    2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

    With the Love of Christ Jesus.

  6. Hello @Chantele welcome to the community.

    Not surprising that I've been listening to a podcast series on the book of Job. I would advise you to read it. It's a great book about GOD's unconditional love, sovereignty and not all bad things are necessarily from sin.

  7. Job is a great example of the devil's relentless attacks, especially on a believer. My family has recently come under a barrage of attacks from the evil one, and we are standing stronger than ever in our faith.

    1 Peter 4: 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
    13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
