If a new temple is built would be considered a Holy place?
Is Jesus speaking of the end times we are living in now?
Matthew 24
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

Daniel 9
27Then he shall confirm a [k]covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the [l]desolate.”

Does God sit or dwell in a temple,, as in the days of OT?
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of [a]Christ had come. 3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of https://biblehub.com/nkjv/2_thessalonians/2.htm#footnotessin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Acts 17:24

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,

1 Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 6:19

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,

2 Corinthians 6:16

What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,

Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you. I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.”

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Mat 24:15-16
(15) When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand),
(16) then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:

Rev 13:14-15
(14) And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived.
(15) And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

2Th 2:3-4
(3) let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
(4) he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.

Many leaders in the past have gotten people to make statues of them, and commanded people to worship it, example Nebuchadnezzar, well considering the Antichrist, he will be worse than Nebuchadnezzar, the bible calls him the man of sin, so he is a man, he is going to be a man, that exalts himslef above all that is called God, for that is what it says.

A man cannot go inside another human's temple.

1Co 6:19
(19) Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

Is not the body the temple of the Holy Ghost ? Well yes if you have been born again, and are part of the church, then you become the temple of God.

Does God inhabit man made earthly temples any more ? No.

But even though the bible says this, are we to deny other verses with this verse ? Of course not, because then you are picking and choosing what you want to believe.

What shall this man of sin be doing ? He shall proclaim himself as God, in the temple of God, in and earthly temple that is proclaimed to be God's temple, and why is it proclaiming it to be God's temple in this case ? God knows why, and in what way is it saying this ? God knows, why? Sometimes because we do not understand why, we tend to change what it says, which is wrong to do.

Now we know that under the old covenant, there was a physical temple, and maybe in some manner that is why it will be proclaimed as the temple of God, not because God dwells there, but rather because the Jews' intention of rebuilding a temple to God, so whatever reason the bible calls it this, God knows why.

What shall this man do, he shall proclaim himself as God, and exalt himself above all that is called God, in the temple that is called God's temple, and the second beast shall cause people to make an image to the first beast (Antichrist), which shall stand in what at least is suppose to be an holy place, and that people should worship this image or be killed.

And also that people will not be able to buy or sell save they have the mark of the beast, and that is referring to the economy, which we see signs leading that way, we can easily accept this part about buying and selling, but some cannot receive another physical aspect of things that how an image shall be made to the beast so that people worship it.

Fighting the word with the word, is not a wise thing to do, rather the better thing to do, is to seek to understand it, without changing what it says.
